My car is a 1994 Honda Accord and has trouble starting?

We have just replaced the battery and we have checked the alternator and it is not that. When I turn it on the oil and battery light flashes, but I don't know if that means anything. It has trouble turning on and and makes noise but yah know doesn't start. Any ideas?

2014 honda civic won't stop beeping in accessory mode?!

I was in the drive in theater with my cousin sister and boyfriend and I tried to get the accessory mode on the car started so I can just hear the radio without turning the engine on. My car is push to start. But when I had it on accessory mode it kept beeping! And I read the owners manual, it said to turn the accessory mode on and press and release the valet 3 times but what the heck is the valet! I looked that up in the owners manual and it said it is the key! So I pressed it and sometimes it would still beep and sometimes it didn't! Idk exactly what to do to keep it on accessory mode without having to hear those annoying beeps!

Buying a motorcycle soon, what basic gear to buy?

i am going to buy a honda cb400 for about $3000 soon enough, any tips on what to buy? Hope it wont cost more than $1500. I live in the philippines,but, i'd be willing to go to other countries to buy my gear e.g. Japan.
ive been thinking of going to japan to buy a shoei x12 and other gears, it costs about $500 in the us/aus but its only $300 in japan. I could use the extra $200 to spend a night in japan.
so what should i buy? And where would it be feasible to buy?
is a shoei x12 okay? Are leather over-pants better than kevlar jeans? Or should i wear kevlar pants under leather over-pants? If so what leather over-pants are there to buy? What brand of jackets should i buy?
dianese, alpine stars? What boots should i buy? Gloves? Would i need a neck brace? What about armor?
my main concern would be safety, rather spend cash to be safe, than spend cash to be healed.

Is this worth canceling the car purchase?

My hubby and I bought a used 2012 Honda Civic LX 31K miles from a dealership last night. While we were test driving, we heard a light rattling noise but other than that the car drove great and we were allowed to take it far enough to test the brakes, acceleration etc.

The car was sold to us at a reasonable price - price that could have been lower but fit the price range on Kelley blue book and NADA.

Anyhow we explained the rattling noise to the dealership and they said they'd check it out today and so we left the car at the dealership overnight. Today the service advisor from the dealership called us and said it's the shift cable rattling and that they'd have to get the parts to get it fixed. Given that it's Labor weekend, it would take Tuesday to have it fixed and ready for us. We're not paying for this repair but we're taking this is as a red flag since we JUST purchased this car and it already has a problem. What would be the right course of action to take if anything? Ive had my heart set on a Honda CRF250R. I have no past experiences with dirt bikes, this would be my first one. I went to a Honda Dealer and the bike looked a lot bigger in person but when I got on it i wasn't flat footed on both sides but I was on my tippy toes. I could hold up the bike and a employee said it wouldn't be crazy for me to start with this bike. Im currently 15 5'6 and about 120 Pounds. When I sat on it kind of felt intimidating because of the size but also thought that I would get used to it soon.

A good friend of mine sold me a car (well practically gave me it sold me it for $200). (The car runs great to ) But it do sent have a title Or any documentation (The car is not stolen it is his i checked at the local police department )He lost all of the documents during a divorce And hasn't had any contact with his ex wife. He is always on the road (Truck driver). And we lost contact and he only comes to town every 6 months. The car is In my drive way at my house it will be here a week today. Parking lights, tail lights and instrument cluster not working. Why?

2000 honda accord v6, everything was working fine, turned on my parking lights (first turn before headlights) and no parking lights, tailights or instrument cluster/dash lights. Checked all fuses and theyre good, honda forums suggest replacing headlight switch or checking for burnt/ bad wiring. Anyone have any other suggestions? I cant even drive at night now this sucks all i have is headlights and brake lights.

I'm saving up for a car and I have about 600 so far. I'm only a junior but I plan to have atleast 5000 saved up by the end of my junior year if I work a lot. I want to get a car for about 3-3500 and I've heard civics and camrys are reliable and good with gas. I either want a 2003 civic or 2002 Camry, which one is better? I parked at Walmart earlier today and when I came back, someone left a beautiful surprise for me! And guess what ladies and gentlemen?! They left a sticky note on the bumper where this gash is at? And do you know what it said? "Sorry:(" that's it folks. No information no nothing. I hope he or she, gets in a car accident and breaks every bone in their prick body. Ok so my local Honda dealer contacted me about a sweepstakes they were having and I always enter them because they give out gift cards but the grand prize is a new car. Sometimes I win the cards sometimes I don't. But I won the grand prize yesterday. It's a 2014 Honda Civic LX completely free. I obviously want to keep the car as it's better than my current one but my current car is financed and I've only had it 9 months. I don't know anybody who needs a car either. How often do stereos get stolen?

I just bought this new stereo for my 2000 Honda Accord SE and installed by a Alpine authorized dealer. My car has Honda dealer factory installed security along with its keyless entry remote. The stereo is a Alpine CDE-143BT. I dislike having to remove the faceplate and putting it back on before I leave my car or getting in. So, I wanted to know, what would you do? I think people don't steal stereos anymore like the 90's. I see cars all the time with their nice new stereo in their cars when I walk by. What's the likely probability that someone what's to go the entire hassle of stealing my stereo from my car?

Will the 2015 CRF230F plastics fit on the 2014 CRF230F?

So I got a crf230f, 2014 model. Honda used the same design of plastics from 2008 through to 2014. I was so pissed when I saw the 2015 plastics design and stickers! They are so much better looking than the 2014 model. I cannot sell my current bike for a new one when they come out. I only got it about 3 months ago. So, will the plastics for the 2015 model fit on the 2014 model? I know they look completely different, but I was focusing on the placing of the bolts and they all look in exactly the same position (2 on the top of the shrouds, 1 on the side number plates). The only doubt I have is there is a hook under the shroud of the 2014. I have no idea if this is on the 2015 model because I have not seen one personally to look right into it.

I have my road test in 3 days and I have been practicing on 3 cars. My moms Honda Pilot, my car(hyundai Genesis), and my dads 2013 Maserati. I'm comfortable with all 3 of them. Hi, so I checked my oil when my car was hot and it showed no oil, so i filled it up. Today I checked it when it was cold and now it shows over full, like over double what's supposed to be in there.

I drive an 05 honda civic if that makes a difference.

Car won't start after I changed spark plug wires?

Ok I have a 98 honda accord and I changed the spark plugs wires on it cause my spark plugs boots got stuck in there and it took me time to take it out I had to spray WD40 which helped a lot but after I cleaned them I and put the wires I tried starting it it couldn't start but it cranks so I thought I put the wires wrong and I changed them too then it still the same but better crank sound and then I changed the spark plugs with.044 gap and still not firing any help? And yea I gotten a distributor from the junkyard and like it worked like I drove on it and now it's just not firing I tried that starter fluid thing and still nothing I'm crying please somebody tell me what to do next it was running fine before I changed the wires.

What should my 2005 Honda Civic's tire pressure be at?

My 2005 civic sedan's manual says tire pressure should be at 30 psi. The tires on it are Definity hp100's and the current pressure in them is about 42 psi. Is that because the particular tire can't go down to 30 psi? Or can they and should I drop them down to 30 psi?

Aux interface for 2014 Honda Civix EX?

I just purchased a Honda Civic EX and discovered the car does not come with an AUX (3.5mm mini-jack) input. Instead, it now has and HDMI and 2 USB inputs.

I have a SiriusXM Onyx radio which plugs into the 3.5mm mini-jack port to deliver sound. However, now that that port is not available, I need to find compatible cable in USB or HDMI, or I need to find an adapter which will convert the 3.5mm jack to a standard USB (not min like on cell phones).

Any help would be appreciated.

How fast are these pepped up Honda Civics?

I always see, or hear these Honda Civics with loud engines that sound stupid. How fast are they generally? 0-60 MP/H or 0 to 100 km/h. I'm just wondering. Also, I think they're retarded unless they look nice. I saw one once that was super ugly, parts of the car had no paint on it and all rusty, had bright red rims, pepped up and one of those loud engines. I don't get it. I'd rather have a nice sounding engine that prrrs like a cat, not barking like a loud dog. My opinion. Went a bit off topic. Lol

Should I buy a 2008 Honda Civic Ex Coup car for $7500?

The man told me that he bought it from NY and that in the summer time he likes to buy and sell cars, even though hes NOT a dealer. The car only has 84500 miles on it and there was 2 fender benders on the car (hood and front left fender) both were replaced. Now there is a dent and crack on the front bumper from the previous owners. From the pictures, it does not seem so bad, and I have yet to actually see it in person.

Is this car a good deal? And how can I lower the price to $7000?

At first it was $7900 and he told me that the lowest he will go is $7500 bc he had to ship the car in an airplane from New York to Michigan and that $7500 is where he gets nothing from it (I kind of do not believe).
Added (1). Also, he states that the car had a Clean Title and doesn't the 2 fender benders on the car make the car title Rebuilt?

Automatic! So idk if its the tranny but I've gone through two different ones already and both have done the same thing. I have a 1997 honda accord. Today, the upper radiator hose split and filled the car with steam. I replaced the hose and refilled the antifreeze, but the check engine light is still on. 02 Honda Civic Shudders in 1st gear?

I have a 2002 Honda Civic Lx Coupe with a manual transmission. I have a bad CV axle and recently when I start from a start from first gear it will shudder like I'm not giving it enough gas and a really loud metal clanking, but I never have a problem at the rpm I start at and I can even rev the engine higher and it will calm down but still do it. I checked it out today and it has stopped. I looked around and have heard things from possibly a warped fly wheel, bad clutch disc, bad motor mount. The motor isn't shaking when it does it so it's not that. I also have no clutch slippage, my clutch seems to be fine. I plan to fix the CV first thing just haven't been able to yet.

What I'm asking is any ideas on what it could be? Could it be the CV axle binding and up and clanking?

Will I be hated for owning a 2008 Honda civic si?

I'm a car enthusiast who respects all cars, but I have noticed that a lot of people really hate on civic si's. I'm in college right now and I was first planning on getting a Mazdaspeed 6, but do to some circumstances (where I live, reliability, gas milage, etc.), I decided to go with the civic si. Don't get me wrong, I hate the fact that I'm going from 274 horses with a turbo to a N/A four cylinder. A drastic loss of horsepower and torque. But I'm using up a lot of gas and need a car that will be fun to drive and save a lot of money on gas. So is the civic si a good choice, or is there a better car without the bad reputation.

P.S. If I do get the civic, I will plan on modding it. I'm not going to rice it. All I'm going to do is add a better non-fart exhaust, headers, intake and maybe a supercharger if I have the money for it. My budget for a used car is 9k-12k. The 2008 civic si and the Mazdadpeed 6 were around the same price also.

New stereo in 2011 honda civic lx sedan?

I need a new stereo that has USB and AUX inputs. I want to be able to change the song from the stereo by pressing the next button like i would on the radio. I don't want to have to change it though my phone. Could someone tell me some compatible models that will do this? Also can you install steering wheel controls? Like changing the volume and song from the wheel?

Why is my car idling rough and sputtering?

OK so I have a 96 Honda civic with a zc engine swap in it the car ran fine and then popped a check engine light for an idle air control motor and reved when I had it in neutral so I drove it a lil more and I came to a stop and the car started to run very rough sputtering when I stepped on the gas. What could it be? I checked the plugs, wires, plugs, I put octane booster and fuel injection cleaner in it to. Is it the idle air control motor? Its the last thing I could think of but I wanted to ask before I spent all the money on a new one

Where in eastern PA can I legally ride my dirt bike? (trails/parks)?

So I've been riding my 1979 Honda XL for a few months now (first bike) and I'm really interested in riding offroad now. The only place I can ride dirt right now is at a construction site down the street. Where are there any trails or parks that I can legally ride at in eastern PA or within a reasonable distance of West Chester, PA.

(or any places that aren't so legal but fun to ride at… Hahaha)

Why does the audio on my 1990 Accord radio only work with the headlights on?

I have a 1990 Honda Accord. The stock (let me repeat that, stock) radio worked fine, now the audio only works with the headlights on. The radio functions in every other way except for the audio. The display dims as it should when the lights are turned on. What I am looking for is someone who has or had this exact same problem, with the exact same car, and what you did to fix it. I have checked all the fuses. Again, please contribute an answer if it meets the above requirements. Thank you.

The line from the transmission to the shifter got damaged! How do I fix it?

I was driving home on the freeway at night when all of a sudden a piece of rim in the middle of the highway went under my car and pull the cord that connects from my shifter to the Transmisson now my car won't go into reverse or neutral and the line is pulled to the point I can see the metal wires is it an easy fix?

99 honda civic crank but no start. Help?

So like I said I have a 99 honda civic ex coupe. And i was driving home from work last month and my engine light came on then shortly after that my car started to struggle then slowly lost power and then died. Not battery power. But it wouldn't start after it died. It cranks really good but no fire. Also no spark at the spark plugs. I've changed my spark plugs spark plug wires and the distributer cap and still no fire. Or spark. But I got battery power. All lights come on radio. Also the fuel pump does work. For sure and filter. Please help I've been broke down for way to long. God bless.

Should I buy this 2001 Honda Civic?

It's my first my car. I really don't have much to spend since I'm paying for school right now and will have to pay for insurance. I can't spend much more than a little over $2000. I've searched and searched and finally found something in my price range that doesn't seem like a total piece of trash. It's some 18 year old kids car and he's selling it before he goes away to college. 2001 honda civic. You can tell it's been kept clean and taken care of, besides two dents, which is the least of my concern.
Everything looks great, the timing belt was changed about 20k ago, he claims he changed the oil regularly, clean car fax, etc.
However, when we started the car there was a fair amount of rattling, and same for when we backed up. It was a rough ride, which I've read that earlier civics tend to be, but a small bump in the road felt like a huge pot hole. I'm assuming the suspension may just need to be fixed. Also, the breaks were pretty shaky. Also, tires weren't the best, and I'd probably have to get some new ones once winter comes around.
The biggest concern was the rattling from the engine, which continued when we drove it around a bit too.
He accepted an offer of $1900. Which is a great price but i feel after taxes, and then having to replace all these things I'll just be dumping more money into it than I can afford. And the the engine rattle is a big concern as well since I'm not even sure exactly what it is and how much it is to fix.
Whats your opinion?

Which dual sport should I get?

I'm looking at getting a dual sport bike so I can drive on and off road (my friend and I hit the trails a lot but I want something for the city too).

I like Yamahas and Hondas, and could care less for Suzuki and Kawasaki. I want one that would handle more difficult trails/hills, so I'm thinking something among the line of the DRZ400/440 or the XR650 (the 250 might be a bit small), but I am interested in your opinions/recommendations.

What would you do with this Toyota Camry?

My grandmother no longer wants to drive anymore due to her age, so she gave me her car. It's a 1999 Toyota Camry CE. He is the original owner. My grandfather bought for her at the dealership. Thing is, my grandmother rarely drove, only short distances, and never drove at night because she felt insecure. The car ONLY HAS 28,021 miles. She always parked it in her garage too. The car is in perfect condition, everything is working as it's practically new, it looks new too. It still has the original tires still from the day it was bought from the dealer. I have a 2014 Honda Accord so I debating on keeping it (due to being perfect condition) or selling it. What would you do? If I were to sell it, how much should I? I'm trying to figure out what I want for a first car. I've been looking and a lot of different options and honestly the honda fit has so many nice features for being around $16,000.

Only problem I'm having with deciding is my brother has an older honda fit, so it would be weird if we had the same car.

Is my finance charge too high?

I have a 627 credit score so the lowest APR I could get was 10.99% The car I bought was used a 2012 Honda Civic EX w/ 21k miles and it was listed at $16,500. I put in $1500 down and when I saw my financing details, my amount financed was $18,849 and my finance charge was $6,975. I now have to pay $338 for 72 months. I didn't want to go through with the deal but my dad said I couldn't do much with my credit score so I went through with it. Did I get screwed in this deal?

My 97 Honda Accord SE 2.2l L4 has problems starting sometimes?

If I leave the car off overnight, or after it's been sitting for a few hours. It'll start right up. If I drive to the store, go inside for 15-20 minutes, come out and try to start. You can hear it click, but it doesn't start. After a few turns it usually starts up, but it's gotten worse at times, had to try for about 20 minutes until it finally started. It's making me worry thinking I'm going to be stuck somewhere. Do you guys have any idea what it could possible be? (I checked my battery, and it's fully charged. Starter is good, just got a new ignition switch and my alternator is good as well) my battery terminals are brand new too.

My 94 Honda Civic LX Speedometer Fluctuates?! Help?!

Speedometer Problems! Okay so, I just bought a used 94 Honda Civic LX. It has 160,000 miles on it. I bought it from a town two hours away from my home. When i tested it, it was working, then after i bought it from the person, i went on the highway following my friend and it was working for about 30 minutes until it started fluctuating like crazy. And it still fluctuates after driving for a couple of minutes after starting the car. I just bought the car and i'm pretty disappointed about the speedometer because my old car's speedometer wouldn't work anymore. Anyone knows what the problem could be? Or maybe whats causing it?

Which headlight beams to use?

This pic (Honda civic ) has 3 switches for 3 different light types. I have the same car.

Number 1 I should use it at night always. I know that.

But what's number 2 and 3?

Can I use 2 (low beam?) all times at night to help me see in the night or will it blind people?

Is 3 (high beam?) the one that blinds people and I should only use it in very dark areas with no oncoming traffic?

By the way 3 is when you have the switch on number two AND the stick pushed back.

Say I got a year 2012 or a 2013 Honda Accord or Nissan Altima for example and I ran them up to 150,000 miles. Considering they are very new should they have any problems verses say like an older vehicle from the early 2000's late 90's with high miles (100,000+) that usually have problems every month?

I been having problems with my 2001 honda civic with the check engine light flashing on and off. About 5 days ago my ac compressor starting to make noise, I'm still getting cold air for now, I don't care if I fix it because it's only for air, but is the belt only connected to the ac compressor and nothin else like the alternator? And I really don't want to spend the money to fix it, so can I let it seize up and go on driving or what's the best plan?

How Often Should I Get Maintenance Checks Done On My 2014 Elantra?

My parents bought me a brand new 2014 Elantra and I want to make it last. I know a Hyundai definitly won't last as long as a Toyota or Honda but I'll try to make it last. I believe in oil changes every 5K. Thats what my old man's been doing since he was 16 and thats what he taught me. Should I just be getting a regular maintenance check every time I go to get my oil change? Im 17 and don't have all the money in the world so I was wondering what a maintenance check will cost me, or is it covered under warranty?

Just to let you know what conditions I drive in. I live in canada, harsh conditions right there. But I live in the worst place for driving. We are under constant salt attacks on the car with the most bumpy, broken apart, pot hole covered roads you'll ever drive on. They're horrible. Even the highways aren't smooth. They're still broken and bumpy. All my driving is either highway, or short stop and go trips… So those are my driving conditions

What is a good Beginner Motorcycle for a female?

I turn 16 in two days, and my dad suggested I go for my M (motorcycle license) instead of my G (car) first, because it speeds up the process. So instead of spending (let's say, for example) 2 years, it will take me 1 year to acquire my licence. Also, I can speed up the amount of time I spend in Level 2, instead of spending 6 months, I could reduce it by 4 months if I take a Motorcycle Safety Training Program (I read this on the Ontario Motorcycle Driver's Handbook).

Anyways, I'm about 5'1" or 5'2" and weigh about 115 pounds. So, as you can see I'm pretty short. I need a bike that I can rest my feet or at least one foot on the ground, and I know I have to try it out for myself but I can't yet.

I was looking at the Honda CBR125R or the CBR300R. I was trying to find some smaller cc bikes (such as 125, 250, etc.) in Yamaha, but I'm having a bit of trouble on the site as I don't know the site too well.
What size/cc would you suggest I get, and I'd prefer a bike that's under $5000 since I'm paying for half of it (my dad said he'd match what I pay, so if I pay $1000, he'll match it, giving me $2000) and insurance is pretty high for a beginner, especially a teenager. I'm fully aware of any risks I'd be taking riding a motorcycle.

My brake lights on my 2001 Honda Coupe don't work?

Does anyone know anything about cars and can possibly help me? I have a 2001 Honda Accord coupe. A couple months ago my brake lights stopped working correctly; they would never turn off even with my car off. My friend and I learned it was some switch under the brake pedal so we rigged it to make the lights turn off. But recently after some idiot texting rear ended me, the brake lights dont work at all, with the exception of the one in the window.

Even when I play with that button under the pedal nothing happens. Someone suggested bulbs but they still light up when I do the alarm so I don't know. Anyone had a similar issue and could offer an easy fix? I leave to head back to school tomorrow so I need this resolved.

Also, the buttons and stuff on my horn stopped working a while back. Anyone have this issue? It's not a fuse so I'm not sure what it could be. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advanced

Bike rack for Honda civic?

So I own a 2013 Honda civic 4 door. I also own a bike. I also travel to and from work by car but would love to have access to my bike while I'm in the town I work in. My dilemma, the bike is a hassel to get into my back seat without ruining the interior and the trunk is obviously to small. Is this 2004 Honda Shadow Spirit a good deal?

So this is my first bike purchase and I want some opinions before I go for it. The bike Im interested in has been dropped on both sides, needs front brakes, a rear tire, oil change, and turn signals. It is going for $2000 and has 23K miles on it. It also has a Cobra exhaust system that the owner says is worth $450.

How to fix a sticky brake lever?

I have a 2000 Honda XR100r with drum in front and back. The front brake lever is sticky. What I mean by that is when I brake the lever stays in that position when I pull it in and to disengage it I have to push it back out. How do I fix this?

My friend who is a certified technician at a honda dealership told me that on my 2009 honda civic lx they had figured out that the engines like to crack the block and that hundreds of people reported it and he told me that if the block cracked on my honda civic that they would replace it with a brand new engine because of the problem many people had. My car has 89,500 miles. Is this true? It has the RA18A1 engine.

2004 Infiniti g35 coupe or 2006 Honda accord EXL?

I'm trying to decide which one to get. The g35 has 110000 miles and cost $5700 but I has a few issues.
Exterior - Front end hood/bumper needs a little work
Interior - Back brakes, traction control light on, seatbelt, and an airbag will need to be looked at

What type of lawyer will I need?

I need some advise. I went to the #1 dealership for honda in my county. I found the perfect car and was approved. (This happened Saturday) Yesterday my kids and I were headed to the store to get the rest of there school things. About 10-20 miles from my house my car started jerking. I pulled over and stopped and looked and didn't see anything. I put it in gear and went back on the highway. 5 seconds later it happened again. I was worried and called my husband and told him the situation. He came to me and tried to take it for a test drive. Seconds after he pulled off he felt the same thing and pulled back over. (at this time we think the transmission is shot) I called the dealership and they were closed. I called roadside assistace and they told me I wasn't in the system. (I only had the car for 14 hours and drove it 103.6 miles) Tried to call the roadside insurance to verify that I had purchased the insurance. They acted like I was crazy. Fast forward 4 hours and countless phone calls. My husband checks the transmission fluid and it is completely drt. (we were told that there was a multi inspection done on the car while I was signing the papers). I want to contact a lawyer just in case things don't go as planned. Does anyone know what type of lawyer I would need to handle this. (I want the transmission fixed, It is under 100% warranty. At I am going to need a rental car now that my new car is broken.

Where can I find a wiring diagram for a 2.2kva generator?

I need to wire a standard generator so it's switchable between 110v and 230v, as it's only wired for 110v at the moment. So does anyone know where I can find a wiring diagram? It's just a normal 5.5HP Honda generator with a 2.2kva alternator, commonly found on building sites in the UK. Cheers.

Cant find cigarette lighter fuse in honda civic ima hybrid?

My 4 year old son inserted 5p coin inside cigarette lighter socket, which i didn't know it was there. When i inserted the charger it did not work, after checking the socket i discovered the 5 pence coin inside. Once removed i tried the charger again, it did not work i tried another charger still no output. I try to find the fuse in the box under the bonnet and under the dash i can't find the fuse for cigarette lighter anywhere in the car.
could you please help me out in finding the cigarette lighter fuse because i have to travel and need a charger. I have already lost the owner manual btw. I have attached the layout of under dash fuse box. I have checked stereo fuse which is ok and stereo working. Thank you

Honda Civic emblem removal?

2002 Honda Civic Ex Overheating?

I have a 2002 Honda Civic Ex and it overheats while going down the interstate and sometimes it starts to overheat while going through town.
When we check the antifreeze it seems to be low. Its like its just disappearing.
The other day when my fiance and I tested it to see if it would still over heat we rode around and we noticed that the temperature would fluctuate and one time we noticed it just kept rising so we turned the air on and it cooled down.

Replaced:
the radiator (twice) the first one was bad but we have check this one and it is fine.
the thermostat
radiator cap

Checked:
oil (not milky)
not smoking out of the exhaust
the fans (they seem to be working properly)

any suggestions? Car has 193,*** miles on it. Please help. I cant afford another car right now.

Why is my ac making a rattling noise when I turn it on?

2001 honda civix lx.
Its making a rattling sound when I turn on the a/c.
Just changed the a/c compresor and recharged it.
It blows cold air when I turn it on but it makes a rattling sound anyone know why this might be happening?

Stage 2 street clutch break in?

got a 1998 honda civic EX coupe that came with a new clutch that just needed to be installed. I researched the clutch and found out that the new clutch is a stage 2 XTC street clutch. After I had it installed (by a mechanic of course) he said that the new clutch will ride a little rough until you break it in. I know that the manufacturer suggests a 500-mile break-in, but the car sputters a bit at take off unless I get the rpms to between 3-4k. Even then its a bit hard. The mechanic did warn me that for break in time would be a little sensitive and to take it easy because the new clutch is a 6-finger plate. My only question is this: "Is it true that because of the nature of this clutch and its design/ purpose that my take offs are a little cumbersome and rocky and that it will ease up after the break in period is finished? OR has my clutch been installed improperly and need further servicing? I am afraid to drive it too extensively for fear of causing further damage."

What is causing my 2005 Honda Civic to overheat?

I checked my radiator and coolant reservoir and it is not empty of antifreeze. There are spots around the reservoir and radiator where it appears to have coolant dry up from a leak. This might have oozed out a little when the coolant bubbles up when the engine heats up. If I do have a tiny leak, I don't know how to test to find where it could be. I also bought a new radiator cap and also a new reservoir cap thinking that it would stop the leak if the source is from the top of the radiator and reservoir. I also had the thermostat replaced; however, the problem still remains.

I noticed that the temperature spikes up after 40 + minutes of driving. The temperature is fine when I'm on the highway but the temperature begins to climb as soon as I reach the streets or during stop-and-go traffic. My fan is working fine so I doubt that is what is causing my temperature to rise. I also don't feel anything different from the way the engine runs. I am not losing power or anything malicious like that.

Extra details: 2005 Honda Civic LX Sedan with 141,000 miles on it.

I'm going to be commuting to college about 15 miles one way. I would like something a bit sporty but with enough room for a road trip or a beach party. If you know any other cars to consider I'd love to hear them. Im not really looking at any cars under 24 mpg. Also I'm going to be borrowing money from a family member whose getting it from a bank and the cheaper the car the quicker I'd pay it off. But I can't see myself driving a civic. Its something about only seeing old lady's driving them that makes me cringe. Also the notorious Honda ricers which means I won't be able to "customize" my car a little without being a ricer.

My car (Honda Accord 2000) does not start after 2 months?

My car has been sitting for about 2 months and now it does not start. My car's battery is older than 2 years, but 2 months ago it used to work perfectly fine. All the lights turn on and I could see the timing belt turn slowly but the car does not start. I also tried boosting with two different cars twice, but with no avail. Could it be a battery problem? Is it a bad starter, fuel pump or bad alternator?

By the way, I have little to no knowledge about cars, but I am an electronics technician, if that helps.

I am looking to buy a an old 1980 Honda C70 on Craigslist and the the seller does not have the title. I am not entirely worried about the bike being stolen and will have the VIN checked before purchase. However there is no title and we will be using this form -http://www.dmv.ca.gov/forms/reg/reg227.pdf with a Bill of Sale. Has anyone actually ever done this? I don't wan to purchase the bike, only to find that there is some requirement to obtain the title with this form…

How fast will a 2007 Honda CBR125R travel?

I will be 18 in a few months, and i was wanting to get another bike when i go to college, but i dont really know what to get. I have been riding dirtbikes since i was 6 years old. I started on a 50cc Honda, then i moved up to a kawasaki 125cc dirtbike, then i got my motorcycle license at 14 and i bought a Suzuki 200cc enduro. By about 15 i decided to get a ninja 250. 2009 honda accord radio code?

My battery went dead and I'm hearing about a code, but I'm also hearing it should ask for a code or give an error as soon as I turn the radio on.I'm getting nothing. 1998 honda civic idle issues?

It's a honda civic 1.6L vtec. Blew a head gasket about 2 months ago. Went threw the engine replaced radiator water pump timing belt thermostat spark plug cables and every gasket you can think of on the engine including the vtec filter gasket. Got everything pieced back together only thing I reused was the spark plugs basically because I'm out if money till I get paid. New fluids as well. Started the car after all this and it's idling odd. Jumping from 1000 to 2500 but when I turn on my a/c it lowers down and chills. Think it was from not running for so long and the fuel was sitting. But not positive. The timing and everything seems to be on point as we marked everything before taking it off. The idle is just really jumpy. Messed with the cables going to the intake and it quit for a bit but after turning car off and turning back on got the same issues. If anybody knows what I could do to get the idle to stay steady please let me know. Kinda stumped but hopefully I gave enough info. I'm curious to why it stops jumping when I turn the a/c on but once I turn it off it goes right back. Seems like it was much worse at first but got better after a test run. Thanks everybody
