Honda accord, civic, or toyota corolla?

i have a 23k spending limit should i get like the corolla or civic with all the options or the accord lx. I like the options on the civic and corolla but would those cars make me look like a wuss?

I have a 1997 ex honda with a d16z6 in it, car not turning on?

The car has been sitting on the same spot for almost 4 months. Or more. I knew the battery needed jumper cables so in the past week I did that just fine no problem at all. The other day I tried it won't work at all.(with the jumper cables) now my temperature gauge hits the roof without even turning on the car and makes this weird noise! What can be the problem?! The car wont even crank or anything! Just the lights on the dash turn on.

Should I still buy a car if the frame is a little bit damaged?

I came across a really good deal on 2009 Honda civic and the guy wants 5500 for it. It has 100,000 km on it. Everything is in reay great shape but he doesn't have it safetied because there's a tiny crack in the frame in the front. Under the fan. My friend is a welder and says he can fix that for me no problem and I'll be able to get it safetied. But I know a lot of people say If a car has frame damage you should stay away from it. I was hoping I could get some insight from you guys. Is it a stupid idea and why? Or could this work and why? It seems like to good a deal to pass up!

Should I buy a 1980 Honda CB650?

there is a cb with a little over 14k on it. The guy has a binder of receipts of everything done to the bike. He sold it to a bike shop and they tuned it up. They are selling it for 2400. It is pretty much brand new and this will be my first bike. My friend says it will overheat on long rides so I'm curious about that.

Here are some of the things done to the bike:
aftermarket accessories: front faring, windshield, crash bar with highway pegs, chrome grips, cargo rack, sissy bar, backrest, K and N air filter, jetted.

replaced rubber intake boots, cylinder head gasket, cylinder base gasket and piston rings. New battery and fresh oil filter

1996 Honda Odyssey Won't Stay Started?

My Honda Odyssey decided to act like a jack this morning. Out of no where I start the van and it shuts right back off, quickly and instantly. My radio will remain on but I have no clock or dash lights.
I try starting it again and the same thing, starts and quickly shuts off. Head lights work but no dash or clock
What the heck is the problem? I had no issue's until now.

How much will BRAKE repair cost? Can I fix it myself?

My mom wanted to change parking spaces of my dad's Honda Pilot 2006 and the parking space are like right next to each other and she did it without pulling the brake of the car. The brake is next to the accelerator and stuff and has to be done with foot and not hand but she forgot to do it and drove the car for like 1 minute and now the break is like jammed. It won't pull up it's like completely jammed we tried but it won't work. She's literally crying her eyes out since it's my dad's car so I was wondering what she can do. If she has to pay for a mechanic how much can the job be done for because I am going to pay for it so she doesn't have to deal with it. Thanks!

Front right fog light not working?

i went for my wof this morning and it only failed because i needed to replace the front right fog light. So i went to repco and brought one and put in the new bulb. Still didn't work. So we check all the fuses and they are all fine. I rung up the place i went for the wof and asked what was actually wrong with it and they only thought it was the bulb so they have no idea. I have tried googling it but cant find anything. Also i don't have the money to get it fixed at a shop.
the car is a honda accord hatch back. 98 i think.

2011 Honda fit air conditioner doesn't work on 1 or 2 setting?

HI All. I had my oil changed in my 2011 Honda fit on Saturday and they told me I would need to change my cabin filter soon, not yet but soon. I took it into consideration and know how to change it myself so I didn't worry about it. However now my air conditioner ISN'T working right! When I first start my car and turn on the air nothing comes out of the blower on settings 1 or 2 but when I crank it up to 3 or 4 and then go back down to 1 or 2 it works fine. I know enough to know that an air filter will not stop it from working and that it is a compressor problem but it seems weird that right after they mention it, my air stops working:/ (literally that afternoon). Could they have damaged it somehow when checking the filter or changing the oil? Is this a common issue with Honda Fits? I am going to call the dealership tomorrow but I thought I would check online first.

1994 Honda Accord Starting Problem?

I have a 1994 Honda Accord EX. When I turn the key to start the car, it just sputters and dies. The only way to get it to start is to turn the key and hold it in the on position while continuously stepping on the gas pedal until it revs up and catches then it stays on. After I get it started up it idles rough and sputters. After driving the car, when I get to a stop light it idles extremely low and usually doesnt cut off but it has a couple of times. Then I have to repeat the cranking process to get it started again. My check engine light comes on when this happens and have taken it to numerous shops hoping one has the machine to read the code but no one does. Ive had the spark plugs, air filter, and catalytic converter replaced. Didnt get fuel filter replaced bc the mechanic quoted me an outrageous price. Ive had mechanics come to look at it and give me their opinions but its always different. Ive been told IAC valve, distributor rotor and cap, fuel filter, fuel pump, main relay, ect. Does anyone have any idea if any of these listed is the problem or is it something else? If so, what is the problem?

Does a cars OBD System reset everytime you disconnect the positive battery terminal?

I own a 1996 Honda Accord and just recently got a new catalytic converter and o2 sensor installed because of 1 CEL code. The mechanic reset my OBD System after the installation to remove the CEL light which never came back on (its been a weak). The same day this procedure was done is the same day I wen't to MVC to receive an inspection, I failed only because the OBD System, was not ready (no other reason). They told me to drive the car around for a while. I ask if disconnecting the positive terminal of the battery (not the ground) will reset the System because I disconnect the positive terminal every night. I know this is not good for the car but it is only temporary until I find the reason my AC lights won't shut off.

2004 Honda Accord V6 transmission problems?

I have a 2004 Honda Accord V6. About a month ago while driving down the road it felt at though I had slipped my car out of gear into neutral, my rpms were revving up but I had no power. I took it to the mechanic and he said tranny rebuild. And so we did. I got the car back about 2 weeks ago and on my way home from the shop the shifting of the tranny was not smooth. It jerked me every time I changed gears and when taking off from a stop it sometimes acted as through it was never going to change. I took it back to the shop and he plugged it up to the machine, even though the check engine light was not on and he told me that it threw a bad solenoid code. I left the car with him for it to be replaced. I picked it up a few days later and he told me that it still wasn't shifting as smoothly as he would like, but that he thought that the valves were sticking? And that he had put a pint of something into the transmission and for me to drive it and he thought the performance would improve as it was driven. Now it's been driven over 250 miles and I'm still having problems. A couple of days ago I was at a complete stop pulling out of a parking lot. When i tried to accelerate, I had to get up to 2000 rpms before the car would even begin to roll, then when the jerked hard down into 2nd, the check engine light, the TCS light, a triangle with a! Inside of it came on, and the green dot beside drive was flashing. I turned the car off and all lights went off but check engine.code P0746.

94 Honda accord won't turn off with the key removed?

I'm running out of Ideas on what could be causing the problem I have a 94 Honda accord the won't turn off when I trun the switch to the off position. The only way to turn it off is I remove the batterie cables or shift to first and let the car jump. I've replaced the ignition switch, the key cylinder were the key goes, the batterie, and I know it's not the altornator, the only other option that I can think of is putting a kill switch, which I really don't want to do. Has anyone eles had this problem, and is there a solution?

2004 Honda CRV miss fire?

Its not tripping the engine light and it normally only happens under load (going up a hill) it seems to happen between 2500 and 3200 rpm area but i havent narrowed it down and further it really losses power when it.happens to so idk if its multiple or just one but you can really feel it loose power. But here what gets me the head gasget was replaced 2 years ago or so. So ill assme its not a compression issue and the coils where replaced last year also and one just very recently (this one just quite all together) so egine light was on. But I need to know other possible causes for the coils dieing out so early or if this is even a coil? Ingector? Plug? Coil wires? Throw some possible reasons for this at me. Thanks in advance!

2001 Honda xr100r Tire size?

I brought a 2001 Honda xr100r with a flat and worn front tire. I want to buy a new tube and a new tire, but I'm confused with the size. In the manual it says that the front tire is 2.50-19, but online i see the size 100/70-19 popping up when i search up 2.50-19. Are the sizes compatible? Can i buy a tire 2.50-19 and a tube 100/70-19 and will they fit and vice-versa.

Honda Odyssey Exclamation/VSA warning with transmission issue?

Our 2005 Odyssey has recently been having issues when making a sharp turn (U-turn, 90 degree turns, etc.). The yellow exclamation point and the VSA warning light turn on and the van can't shift gears and as I bring it to a stop it shakes and shudders. When I turn the van off and restart it a few seconds later, the problem is fixed (until the next sharp turn), leading me to believe it may be a computer issue and not a transmission issue. It seems not to happen when taking a slower, wider turn when possible. Anyone had this happen to them? Any suggestions on who best to take it to - dealer, Sears, or independent mechanic? Thanks!

2006 Honda Accord Coupe Door Stuck?

I have a 2006 Honda Accord coupe and I have never had any previous problems regarding the doors. Yesterday, I parked and tried to get out but the door would not open from the inside or the outside. When you try opening from the outside, it feels like there is no resistance so something must have gone wrong internally. From the inside, the door handle juts out slightly and has no resistance either. You can push the door handle in to the proper position but if you try pulling on it again to open the door it returns to the slightly outward position. Can someone give a detailed explanation of what is wrong? In addition, how much would the dealership or an autobody charge for such a repair? Thanks for all the help guys!

How to take care of my new HONDA UNICORN?

Hi this is madhav from Hyderabad. I bought my new Honda unicorn on 1st February 2014 and i am totally satisfied with my bike and its performance. It is giving a mileage of 50-55 in the city at traffic and rough handling environment. I given my bike to first free service on 3rd march 2014 and they made very well i am satisfied. I bought my bike at AUTO FIN dealer Himayatnagar. Now on 1st may i am going to give my uni to second free service and hope they give same good service.
The actual problem raised when i asked other unicorn rider about his bike performance he said after 2 free services please don't give it in showroom as they replace original parts with duplicates by which the bike's mileage sucks… Is this rue do the showroom people change the genuine and replace duplicates please help me and answer me about this issue… Give me nice private service centers for HONDA UNICORN… I LOVE MY BIKE>>>
