What kind on interest rate on auto loan with bad credit?

I have poor credit, due to some severe health problems which caused me to miss work and incur medical expenses 6 years ago (which were then sent to collections). At this point, I have everything shown as paid or settled. I finally qualified for my first credit card in 6 years. It’s high interest, with a $39 annual fee, but it’s unsecured at least.

My problem is that I need a car now. My current car has severe electrical issues that even the dealership can’t fix. It only has 156k miles on it, so I thought I could continue saving until the bad accounts dropped off my credit report. I was hoping to use the credit card to restore credit. However, I need a car NOW. I have $3,000 to put down on a car, and a credit score of 629. What kind of interest rate can I get through a Honda dealership? What kind of interest rate through my credit union? How do I rate shop without taking a severe hit to my credit score?

I have a 2001 Honda accord and it is an automatic transmission. My parents bought me the car as an early Christmas gift last year. My friend has a stick car and it just seems so much more fun to have stick (yes I can drive stick). I don't want to sell it because I just got a subwoofer installed. What is the best fuel additive to combat ethanol problems?

Im not trying to start a debate on ethanol fuels VS regular gas but speaking from experience Ive noticed recurring problems in my vehicles running ethanol blend gas (10% ) . My toyota 4Runner I owned would not run on ethanol blend, it had to have 100% pure gas to avoid predetonation.

Im facing a recurring problem of a slight miss in my wifes 2000 Toyota Camry and my 1997 Honda Accord (running a swapped engine on high octane.) When I run high octane race gas in my accord (105 octane, pure gas) it fixes the problem almost instantly for about 1000 miles. I obviously cant do this in my wifes Camry.

Everyone claims sea foam is the best to combat this problem but im seeking further input on the matter. Please, dont bash my statments, Im going on personal experiences that ethanol blended fuel is bad for older vehicles and just want to figure out a way to "safely" run the blended fuel without having to buy oxygen sensors constantly and keep an eye on my injectors. I was driving my 2012 honda cbr 250 today and a police office stop me and put me 2 tickets 1- for go 44 miles in a zone of 30
and another one for don't have motorcycle license. My record is clean i never got a problem no tickets never im 23 years old.
What to do?
Find a ticket clinic lawyer can help me for it? They charge me $750 and dont give me guaranty or Pay the speeding fine $219 and go a court in person and show my motorcycle license im getting after tomorrow after pass training. And apologize? I know was bad decision ride without motorcycle license is something I'll regret the rest of my life. Im scared i talk to many people say judge can give 60 days in jail and i never ever have problem and im so scared i dont want loss my job my girlfriend my freedom. Please help me to what is the better to do. Also i want the best way to still with my clean record cause im a cuban and i want my american cittizen. I have a fuel tank leak and I need it replaced ASAP. My mechanic said that is what is causing the issue of my check engine light (he's a very good mechanic and fixed a few of my check engine lights in the past) but some people on here are saying he is wrong

Car battery stays on even when car is completely shut off?

Had the same problem a year ago, I would completely shut off the car but the ac light would stay on and you were able to turn on the ac. I would have to disconnect the battery every time I shut off the car so it would not discharge. This problem was also accompanied by poor idling at the time, both problems went away on their own but have now come back. This morning I turned on the car and immediately the rpm started going down and the car started shaking, every time I came to a completely stop the rpm went down and the car stalled. The car accelerates fine and stays on while accelerating but I could not reach my destination without having to place the car in Neutral when coming towards a stop and revving the engine to prevent it from stalling. When I finally arrived to my location and shut off the car to my surprise the ac light stayed on and the ac was able to be turned on even with the car being completely shut off. What could be the source of this or these problems and why do they always appear together? I checked the battery, alternator, and starter which all turned out good. I was told I could have an electrical short somewhere but if this is the problem where do I find where the short is? Any info on this problem would be very appreciated.

We're in college and used to live together with some friends in a duplex house. I moved out 2 months ago and he is still there. We had a really nasty breakup the same time I moved because he thought I cheated. I would never and he had no proof. The last contact we had was 2 months ago when I texted him that he was full of **** and he didn't reply.

I recently had to throw out my trunk mat because of smell, any alternatives?

I bought a used car from someone, and the trunk mat smelled like mildew, which made my whole car smell like it.so I threw it out. What is a good alternative to a trunk mat? My car is a 2002 honda accord so they don't make those anymore. I was thinking about buying some heavy material and just cutting out the shape, but I'm not sure which material would be sufficient enough to hold heavy objects like a suitcase. Any suggestions?

Is this a good deal for a brand new 2014 civic si?

Hi guys Im young and in school and looking to not get robbed by the dealership. Its a 2014 honda civic si. The msrp is 23,580. Its the basic si with no navigation or anything. I would be leasing it for 36 months with 12,000 miles per year.

I have a 99 mustang v6 in good condition with 141k miles on it they originally offered me 500… I laughed… They offered me 1500 for a trade in on it.

I would also put 2k down cash

I was able to use leverage to get it down considering they probaly want to get rid of all the 2014 for the new 2015

I got down to 239 a month for lease after taxes.

Do you think I can do better? I would prefer 200 a month flat.

1991 Honda accord stalling after left turns, help would be appreciated?

I just purchased a 1991 honda accord besides this problem it's an exceptional condition. Low miles, runs great and awesome gas mileage. I've only had the car for three weeks and only drive intermittently and in short distances. Twice in the three weeks, at night & somewhat colder climates after stopping at a light and swinging a left the car stalled and I pulled over. I noticed the engine light came on and I waited a couple minutes the engine light went off & the car restarted. I unsuccessful tried to start the car a few times and it sounded like the car was out of gas. I was thinking something to do with the fuel supply does anyone else have any suggestions greatly appreciate it cuz I'm at loss here. Recently the car has had a new battery a new distributor a new starter and a new alternator I believe. Thank you

Bad Battery or bad alternator?

I have a honda accord 1999 i bought it of my uncle he said alternator is brand new and the batter is also new not even a year he bought it he said but when i turn it on it makes the clicking noise when a battery is dead I was using it before driving around to see how it runs but then i turned it off and try to turn it on again and it just would not turn on whats the problem?

My car won't turn over and start?

I went to go drive my car last night. It started up, but as I sat parked in the driveway it was idling rough (it felt like the engine was missing every few seconds). Then after about thirty seconds the car just shut off. Tried to restart and it wouldn't go. The engine cranks, but it won't turn over. Tried jumping it, no luck. Replaced the battery and the spark plugs already. Not sure what to check next. I'm driving a 99 Honda Accord ex 4 cylinder. Appreciate any help!

1989 Honda Accord low idle problems, wants to stall in idle?

I have a carbureted 1989 Honda Accord LX 2.0, automatic, with no air conditioning. It runs extremely well for 90% of the time. But intermittently it will idle at a very low speed and start to shutter and want to stall when idling. If I put it in neutral, it will bring up the idling speed enough to where it won't stall. This will happen once every so often and usually if I leave it until the next day, it's back to running just fine. We have changed the vacuum advance, spark plugs, and air filter. And the mechanic said that both fuel filters were fine. If anyone has any ideas or advice, it would be appreciated. I wonder if its a carburetor problem?

Honda Civic Idle Problem?

I have a 1.5L carby 1993 civic hatchback, and it runs well except I have an idling issue. It will stick at 2000rpm for the first 5-10 minutes of driving, and then at a set of lights of when I stop the idle will just drop from 2 straight down to 1000rpm and stay there. Also, on a short trip where the idle does not drop below 2000rpm, when I turn the car off it will burble and keep running even when I have turned the key off. However, this only occurs when the rpm is at that 2000rpm range, not at 1000. What is going on?

I was approved for a 17K loan towards the purchase of a Honda 2012. The rate is %3.76 for 60 months.

This is my first loan, I had a good credit score, before applying for the loan through the car dealer. My score was 760 before the loan, now my credit score plummeted to 706.

Was that the best rate I could get based on my profile? College graduate, Never took a loan before, Minor credit card debts, Payments always on time.

Please advise.

Could someone have put the positive and negative wires that connect to the battery on the wrong sides? All the batteries online look the same as this one and the cover on the bike only lets you slide it in one way (where the pos is on the right and the neg is on the left). Help

Can I go through water on my ATV?

2014 Honda rancher. It is fule enjected so it has no carberator. How deep water can I go through. I do not want to buy after market parts all I want to know is how deep water can I go through and will it mess up the fule injection system. It also had a radiator like a car and has power steering am I at risk of damaging these? Thanks all info is very helpful and be much aprecuiated.

I have a 77 yamaha RD400 it has pretty good power for a 400 I love this bike very much. But i was thinking I want a new present day sports bike. I had two bikes in mind a 2014 honda cbr500r which a few of my friends have them and they say they are great then a 2014 Kawasaki ninja 300 but I haven't risen one before these two bikes are in my budget. My yamaha can go on the highway and it can handle itself I know the 500 might handle its self on the highway and the 300 I'm not sure it might from what I hear but what do you guys think pros and cons of each bike?

Clunking sounds when shifted to Reverse? - 1

Hi, Can anybody tell me what could be the reason for this clunking sounds when i shift the gear from drive to reverse? My hydraulic mount near the power steering oil is new, my engine mount on lower is also new, my transmission mount is also fine as per the mechanic(honda), clunking sounds can be heard during shifting to reverse from drive, sometime i can hear noise(slight clunk) when accelerating (i can hear only this during automatic shifting(decelerate) when gear from 3rd then it will automatically shift to 2nd gear & then when i accelerate, mechanics from honda told me that this is clunk sound normal, but im not satisfied to his answer, when AC is ON, and whenever condenser fan will work i can feel 0.5sec slight vibration, can anybody help me on this? (H-c.i.v.i.c.2008-AT-transmission)
Added (1). Mechanics told me that Transmission mount, Engine mounts are fine, i replace also the lower engine mount but still clunk is there, CV joint also fine(we remove the old grease and put new grease on it)

Could be this normal? No vibration, no clicking sounds or what ever, just the clunk sound when i put gear on reverse from drive

92 honda civic si starting issue?

My 92 honda civic si started having a issue today with the fuel pump not priming, my first guess was that it was the main relay so i replaced it and had no luck so i tried cleaning and reattaching the thermostat ground and still nothing I replaced fuse 24 and 31 with no luck… So I jumped pins 5 and 7 on the main relay and it starts… It idles extremely high and surges almost instantly I really have no idea what the problem is any thoughts of what to check would be nice theres no check engine light and it appears to function correctly when i turn the key

2003 Honda CBR 600rr battery problems?

I recently bought a 2003 Honda CBR 600rr and the battery never stays charged and bike won't start. Thinking the battery may be the problem I purchased a new one. Almost a month later the new battery started giving me the same problem & the bike wouldn't start. I know after riding the battery should be charged but after turning off the bike for about two minutes the battery would die again. I disconnected the extra accessories (LEDs etc) & purchased a trickle charger. But why is the new battery still giving me a problem?

Why do kids put so much effort into lying to strangers about owning cars we know they don't have?

Seriously… I've noticed that over the past few night some kid creates multiple profiles (usually w/ girls names) to talk about 65 mustangs and classics that he supposedly has and at the same time is getting.

I don't know why he's doing it but it does it with multiple profiles w/ 5 or 6 Q's each almost every night this week.

Just w/ the nature of all his posts he's pretty much made it clear he's not the least bit serious about learning anything and is probably FOS on any and all counts… But he just keeps posting about it regardless.

I called him out a little while ago for a Q from a profile that was 30 minutes old where a user w/ the name Alison was asking if girls like classic mustangs or hondas?

Though before I could call him out more most of his posts got deleted so I'm obviously not the only one noticing him.

But still as someone who frequents this board a lot and actually has owned mustangs (including classics)… WTH is wrong with this kid?
Added (1). BTW while I would really like to know why he's doing it, I know this may count as a rant or something… And if it does I don't care if it gets deleted.

If all else I just want him to see this and to know that his nightly multi-profile lies and loads of crap aren't fooling anyone… And also that doing things like spamming and having multiple profiles is against site rules.

Can I handle the bike/learn to handle it?

I've been trying to get back into dirt biking since this summer but I just haven't really found a bike, and my dad has a 250 2 stroke(kawasaki). I haven't been on a dirt bike in quite some time, but my dad got me to learn how to ride one before I could ride a bike(honda 50cc). I'm currently ~6' 150lbs., and I really want to ride again, but I know that a 2 stroke packs a punch. Should I try to take it slow and learn to ride again on his bike or just wait for the chance to find a 4 stroke trail bike more suited for a beginner. A bike is right there for me to ride, but I'm just not sure if I should try and pick up dirt-biking again with this bike. So any tips/ideas from better riders would be awesome thanks! :)

Hi, so I just bought my very first car, and I know absolutely nothing about cars. Anyways, I took it to the smog shop the other day, since DMV, required it, and they said everything was fine except the timing. It was apparently off by quite a lot, and it needed to be set to its appropriate timing for it to pass the smog check. Now I want to know approximately how much does it cost to get this fixed, just so I have prior knowledge before i take it to the repair shop, since I would not like to get ripped off by greedy mechanics. Poor gas mileage on my 97 honda prelude?

Hey, for some reason ive been getting pretty bad gas mileage on my 5th gen 1997 prelude. 2005 Honda Civic VP Overheating?

A few weeks ago my oxygen sensor started failing on my '05 Civic VP. I talked to a friend and he said it's nothing to worry about until it actually fails.

Last night and today I noticed my radiator fan not kicking on while driving the overheating issue. I turned the heat on and off etc. Etc. And nothing ever kicked.

Could the oxygen sensor have anything to do with this?

What else should I look at/ try to fix the radiator? As it is definitely the more important piece here.
Added (1). Meant to include: It has done this a couple or few times before. But those times I was able to either turn the engine off and back on, the heat would kick on, or turn the air flow off then on and it would begin blowing hot air.

My hydraulic mount near the power steering oil is new, my engine mount on lower is also new, my transmission mount is also fine as per the mechanic(honda), clunking sounds can be heard during shifting to reverse from drive, sometime i can hear noise(slight clunk) when accelerating (i can hear only this during automatic shifting(decelerate) when gear from 3rd then it will automatically shift to 2nd gear & then when i accelerate, mechanics from honda told me that this is clunk sound normal, but im not satisfied to his answer, when AC is ON, and whenever condenser fan will work i can feel 0.5sec slight vibration, can anybody help me on this? (H-c.i.v.i.c.2008-AT-transmission)

Chances of an 20k AutoLoan?

I'm a 20 year old college student with no current debt. With a credit score of 756 and a monthly income of 1150 after taxes and have been working at the same place for 3 years. I also live with my parents so no bills besides car insurance and phone bills. Also my usual asset to debt ratio is less than 10% every month and I am wondering what my chances are of a getting a 20k auto-loan. I am also putting down a 7k downpayment. So a car for 25-27k range. Have been driving a Honda accord for 4 years and now it's time to upgrade. Also college debt will never be a problem in the future.

How to get approved for the car loan?

Okay here's the deal, a week ago my car got stolen outside my own house. It's yet to be recovered and I live very close to the Mexican border so it's probably chopped up for parts. It was a dying old beat up 96 Honda Accord not worth more than 1,000. So in considering it gone I tried to go get a car loan. I am a server for a restaurant, I depend on my tips as income and I make over 1,000 a month. I tried to pull 5,000 as acar loan over 66 months. Upon review, my credit score was acceptable but they declined me because they don't view "tips" as a source of income. They suggested I find someone to cosign which would have to be my father but he's not to keen on doing so (for good reason, who would?). Because it is income they are looking for what if he wrote me a check every two weeks and I deposited it as income as though I were paid for labor? That would then increase my monthly income and of course I'd pay him the exact amount in cash under the table for the biweekly checks he would write. Would this benefit me by chance? With the job that I have I'd be able to afford the 100$ increase in expenses from the loan I'm trying to receive, I find it absurd that I must apply my tips earned for federal taxes as "income" but when I need my "income" to benefit it's not all accounted for through the bank system.

I have the factory radio currently installed in my car. I want to remove the radio with an aftermarket one but can't because when I pull out the radio the AC/Heat controls come out with it. What is a cheap solution to keeping my climate controls and changing the radio?

*I haven't bought the aftermarket radio, yet. So, if there is a certain radio that works better than another then please let me know about it.

Maintenance light on, what is wrong?

So just today my Main Req'd light turned on and was flashing after I filled my car up with gas and went away. When I turn my car on again it flashes. It hasn't flashed before I filled my tank. Honda Civic Automatic Transmission?

Hi Everyone,

The family has a 2001 Civic with 305,000Km and the automatic transmission is starting to break. I want to replace it instead of rebuilding it. I found a used automatic transmission from a store that imports transmissions from Japan. It only has about 60,000Km.

But they said its a 3 Speed automatic transmission without overdrive…

Is that going to be a problem? And did Japan use 3 speed automatic transmissions when they made the 01 Civic?
How will a 3 speed automatic differ from my current 4 speed automatic?

Can the police impound my motorbike after a accident without my permission?

I was driving my Honda cbr bike when either i got hit or hit into a van. To be honest i don't remember, all i do remember is waking up to a paramedic. The van was driving on the road too, not parked. Im 3rd party insured on mce. Fire and theft. The police impounded my bike without my permission in my opinion as i had a licence insurance everything on the bike was legitimate. I ended up in hospital after the accident. As i had a fractured leg it took me a week to get out. When i was told about my bike in the police impound by letter i was more then pissed. They charged me recovery and impound fees. Is this really allowed to happen Whats happen to the police. There suppose to help people not bill them for something that was purely a accident.

94 honda accord with no break pressure?

Car had no break pressure. No brake fluid leaks. Bled the breaks thinking that would solve the problem it didn't. Replaced master cylinder (not remaned) brand new. Re-beld breaks now the pedal has tons of pressure and acts normal with out the engine running but while the engine is running the pedal goes right to the floor with minimal breaking. I don't know what to do.

Help coolant leak? Video?

So I've asked this question recently on here and got some good answered just wanted to add a video to show the problem the problem I'm having. Had a mechanic come out and doc my hoses and do my valve cover gasket, I know zero about cars he fixed my oil leak buuuuut not my coolant leak and I think it's worse than before he fixed it, it's coming from the middle of the car the upper and lower radiator hoses have both been replaced andy radiator I was told was good and I don't think its the water pump, but like I said idk anything about cars. It's a 91 Honda accord ex Automatic

I'm wanting to get a dual sport bike, and I have almost 0 knowledge on this subject. I just need something to go from home to college and to work and maybe on the weekends have some fun on a few trails here and there. I have never owned a dirt bike or ridden one for that matter. I'm real good with keeping up maintenance on my truck so I would have no problem changing the oil and washing and doing what ever else has to be done to keep it up and running. How long do these last if taken care of the right way? Is maintenance expensive? Is it a good long term investment? Any advise on this subject would be great. Is there another bike that you would recommend If so, why?

What car deal is better for me?

I'm 20 years old and I don't really have any credit besides me paying my credit card bills. I belong to a credit union and since I don't have credit they let me qualify for a high school graduates program where I'm able to get a car for 12,000 and under. I found a car. It's 10,000. It's a 2008 honda accord with 100,000 miles. The credit union said I can get it with 600 down and 280 for 48 months. They also said they fix the car if some goes wrong with it. My second option is save 1000 for a down payment and go get me a newer car with a warranty. The payments may be higher but it depend on the car. Which deal is better?

I've been financing an 05 honda civic for a little over a year. This was my first car ever and I was very naive and I'm now finding myself learning about many things that I wish I was better prepared for, but I guess this is part of learning. In any event, my credit sucks and as of recently it has gone from very poor to poor so I am hoping to get a new car soon. I went to a new dealership, they pulled my carfax and told me that my car was in an accident in 09 and pretty much 80% of the car was damaged. I am of course kicking myself in the *** for not asking for one. But alas I'm in this situation and am trying to get out of it. The new dealership suggests I sell the car on my own, because they can't give me much for it and it would make my payments ridiculous with the negative equity.

I'm considering taking the car back to the dealership that sold it to me and seeing what they would give me. Has anyone been in a similar predicament? I am kicking myself daily for the poor decision I made. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

OBD II Code P0501 on 01 honda civic?

Ok so I I just got my transmission rebuilt about 2 weeks ago, and i couple days ago my engine light came on. When I hooked it up to the scanner it said P0501 which is the speed sensor or something. My transmission shifts fine, it just feels funny at idle. Is this something serious? Is it normal to have this problem after getting your transmission rebuilt? How much is the average cost for replacement?

Cost of oil leak repairs?

I have a 2000 Honda CRV. I found out my car has been leaking oil from the top, left side of the engine. The leaking seems to be minimal and i haven't seen any on the ground underneath the car. I can't take it to a shop until Saturday because they're busy. I was looking for some estimates on how much it might cost to fix or what could be the problem in the first place.

So my heat and air do not work at all. All the fuses are good, blower motor is good, replaced the resistor and the fan works when we tested it but still nothing. I mean nothing works at all. Why is my 98 Honda Odyssey using so much gas after replacing the catalytic converter?

Ok so i used a aftermarket part but it was recommended as a good brand (walker) my check engine light had been on and a mechanic told me the sound was definitely the cat. Also auto zone ran the codes and it said something about the cat. I've also replaced plugs and had a tune up and my tires are fine but my gas mileage is horrible! My brother did the job and reused and made the best of the rubber ring seal thing because the one i purchased was not right. He also used new bolts because one stripped that were also not an exact dealer fit. Could this if caused an issue? My engine light has stayed off after being reset. I've replaced the air filter. What could be the problem? Thanks for any advice i just can not afford what a shop wants to charge for these problems and i have allot of trouble trusting shops as well I've been done dirty a few times by them.

Should I buy a cheap car or pay off a newer car?

So long story short, the car I had gave out on me. It was a 2002 VW Passat that I bought for a pretty decent price with money I saved up, however I always had to fix things here and there and it all added up. PLUS because it was a German car, maintenance and fixes were ridiculously expensive (Just to replace the water pump costed me $1100!). Now I am carless yet saving money up, I get around using the bus or rides from my parents but I need a car to get me from point A to B, I can only do this for so long! My question is if I should just buy a decent used car until it dumps on me again or should I pay off a relatively newer used car something not too expensive (for example a Kia Forte or 2012 Honda cIvic) that'l last me in the long run? I'm currently a full time sophomore in college and work full time as well to pay tuition yet I still have money left over. I make at least 1100 a month. I have enough for a 3000 dollar down payment right now if I choose to pay it off.

Which Honda Accord should I purchase?

I'm 17 years old, turning 18 in about 3 months. As soon as Highschool finishes I plan on immediately attending college. The nearest college (or the one I plan on enrolling in) is around 40-45 miles from my house.

I'm currently looking at the 2014 Accord EX-L w/ a V6 engine vs the 2015 Accord Hybrid EX-L. Both look amazing and are around $27,000 (when I last spoke to the dealership), so I would need to choose soon. I can't decide which is the better choice. I would be driving a lot, and wouldn't be purchasing another car for a LONG time. I feel like the hybrid is best in this situation, but I love the V6 on the 2014 model because I drive for more than just reaching my destination.

2000 Honda Odyssey Problems?

Hi, My girlfriends uncle gave us a 2000 Honda Odyssey EX last year and I have gotten a few basic fixes on it since he didnt take care of it very well.

Main things I want to talk about, and I am not an auto expert here, the car starting making these weird creaking and squeeking noises from under and then the front tires start wobbling like crazy and then as I am driving, the car seems to stop for a second then BAM! Go hard as if something is slipping.

The mechanics here are garbage and i have taken it to 3 so far and they say NOTHING is wrong, surprisingly they dont want money to fix i guess.

My father said it all has to do with the transmission but that doesnt explain the squeeking and the wobbling tires as i deive does it?

Oh and the milage is 180,000.

Headlight bulb not fitting?

Hello,
I have a 2000 honda accord sedan (bought used) with a headlight bulb out. When I try to replace it with a 9006 size bulb, it doesn't fit. I notice the current broken bulb says "E4" while the 9006 size bulb says "E1". They are clearly not the same size bulbs. How can I find out which replacement to get? Thanks.

Considering buying a 2-Door Honda Civic/Accord with 200-250k miles?

So originally I was planning on getting a used Mustang, but I decided that insurance would be too expensive and I want a car that I can trash up and not care too much. So I'm a 16 year old guy looking to get a Honda Civic/Accord. I've been looking at 2 Door ones since they look so much better.

There are loads of these on Craigslist for around $1200-$1800, but they all have around 180-260k miles. I'm only gonna keep this car for a year or so, so will it last me without having any huge problems?

Also does anyone know who big of a difference the insurance is on the 4 Door models and the 2 Door ones? Thanks

no fossils count as evidence for evolution!
firstly, because it's not enough to tell what it is, secondly, you do not know that is the ancestor of anybody, you do not know whether that animals had off-springs that lived. It is absolutely impossible to use any fossils at all as evidence for evolution.

and it is embarrassing to conclude that just because monkeys and human have common similarities they came from the same ancestor. It's like concluding that since Honda produced motorcycles, which have two wheels, "all motorcycles" came from Honda.

What motorbike would be able to keep up with the Honda RVF 400 if possible even bit it?

So I just made a year on a Yamaha r125 and I'm looking to take the A2 licence and get a bigger bike, of course I am still looking for that super sport style only.

But within the range of an A2 licence there are not any new models available, basically what i want is a new bike that would match or bit the Honda RVF 400. As I'm not a fan of old bike looks, don't get me wrong the RVF 400 is amazing but I just like the looks of new bikes better.

I've looked at the Kawasaki's ninja 300 and KTM's RC390 but I think they will feel sluggish compared to a RVF400 even between the two I am not able to decide.

Why has my Honda VTX 1300 Motorcycle been overheating ever since I laid it down?

I changed the coolant, cleaned the air filter and got a new thermostat but still over heats if I'm sitting at every red light. Will start up after it cools down but always over heats when I idle too long. Any ideas?

Is it worth getting a project car as a first car?

Hello all,
I've just turned 18 and got enough money togeather to buy myself a first car. I've had an idea within the past month of having a car that i could gradually tweak, tinker and upgrade over the next couple of years but i was unsure whether it was worth it because it was my first car? I was planning to go for a old 1998 Honda Civic Hatchback and getting parts as i get money. Driver side turn signal doesn't flash, but turns on with headlights?

My 2001 Honda Accord had some damage in a collision during heavy ice and I had to replace the driver side headlight unit/fender/bunch of stuff after running into a highway sign.

The turn signal and hazard light functions do not work (turn off and on, flash)on the driver's side where I replaced the headlight unit but the bulb that they use turns on when I turn the headlights on.

To me, it seems like there could be a short somewhere between the turn signal unit and the headlight where it could have been damaged.

Ideas?

i went to test drive a 2005 Honda Civic EX coupe and when i put the stick to R, it wouldn't move. It turns out something on transmission needs to be fixed and it will cost 800-1000 dollars. The total cost would be 6000. Is it a good idea to buy? Has a clean title but needs repair, dealer isn't willing to fix it unless i put down money.

What is this noise on this honda?

Three black cars without license plates?

About two weeks ago I was driving on the interstate towards Huntsville, Alabama when I noticed three very nice looking black cars without license plates. They did nnot have that "license applied for" thing either. I don't know car types but two of them were SUVish and the other was the shape of something like a honda civic. The two SUV's were driving together and with the small car following and they were going about 20 mph over the speed limit. The windows were tinted so I couldn't see
inside. Please explain what I saw. Did the mob drive me?

Are K&N filters worth it?

I have a 2006 Honda CR-V in need of a new filter and I have narrowed it down to two possible choices. Pretty much all I care about is a clean, dust free engine.

Does the K&N offer $60 worth of performance? It's a CR-V, so obviously I'm not racing, nor do I care about horsepower, but I use my car everyday for work so I want to keep my engine running as smoothly as possible for as long as possible. Does the K&N do this or does it just give more intake? Because I'm not spending the money if it doesn't filter any better than the stock filter.

Turn signals/hazard lights won't work in my Honda Civic 2000?

One of my buddies installed an aftermarket radio in for me, but now my turn signals/hazard lights aren't working. The fuses looks fine, but i don't know jack about the wires behind the radio so i'm not sure what to do. I'm not trying to shell out a buck fifty for a shop if it turns out its just a plug that isn't plugged in. Any tips? Are there any wires that may be unplugged, loose, bent that I need to plug back in or take a look at? If so, what do they look like?

Car won't accelerate past 40mph?

I have a 2001 Honda Civic EX. Recently the alternator "got loose," (someone failed to replace one of the bolts), and it fried my pcm. The dealership was unable to locate the correct part (no longer available), so I ordered an Acura part that was supposed to be compatible. I was told there was a difference with the emission code, or something like that (sorry, am not really sure). I installed it myself a few weeks ago. It ran perfectly well, but the engine light came back on after clearing it out. It was a catalytic converter error.

This weekend my car started having the same old problem… Unable to accelerate past 40mph. I unplugged the pcm, plugged it back in, and it worked normally again. However, it has happened 3 more times. Each time I unplug/replug it in, and it works normally. Is there something triggering the error that I can turn off? A sensor that needs to be replaced?

If you have experience with this type of issue, and think there is a work-around to keep my car running, please let me know. The dealership can't get the correct part, and will not work with a part that is "similar." I am getting desperate, as I need this care for another 6 months. I am afraid that I will get stuck somewhere, and not have a car to get to work or class.

I own a 02 Honda Civic LX Coupe
The only modifications that it has is a short ram intake air intake I believe. Everything else that has to do with performance is stock.
I just feel like she's lacking power and would like to add a bit more.
I would like to know what I can do to my car to add some horsepower and torque here and there, and of course, what's the best and economical way.

Motorcycle Electrical Problem. Power Commander 3 light flickers when indicators are turned on?

Hello all. Seem to have a lot of problems with the wiring of my motorcycle. Previous owner really messed it up. Sent it to a mechanic for him to fix the headlight and taillight wiring because they don't work. That was more than two months ago! Apparently he is busy and I dont know what else. Bike is a 2000 Honda cbr1100xx Blackbird. Problem now is the lights on the power commander 3 start to flicker when the indicators are activated. What is the cause of this? Bike starts and runs fine btw.

How to get a low pitch exhaust system?

I have a 1994 Honda accord and the exhaust on it sounds as if I'm driving by in a sports bike I hate it. It's my first 4 cylinder I bought it to save gas but I there any muffler I can buy to lower the pitch and quiet it down? Should I buy this Honda Accord?

It's a 2004 Honda accord with 200k on the body. They engine was replaced at 190k and the seller has the documents to prove that the work was done. The clutch was also replaced at the same time. He says he has always been up to date with oil changes and repairs. I am 17 and just got my license so it's only for a first car. He is asking 3,000 but I got it down to 2,700. I've had a 2014 honda civic ex coupe for just 3 months and It was rear ended then hit on the back side of the driver side just behind the door and has a big dent with paint that came off and some from the other car. Luxury cars with easy maintenance?

I"ll be getting my license soon and I will be getting a car right away. My dad has a Honda accord, and it's nice but he also wants a luxury car. We agreed that he will pay for part of my first car which will be a nice car but he can use it whenever he wants. So that being said what is a good luxury car that's under 50,000 unless the used version is around 50,000. The biggest issue isn't the money but the mpg and the maintenance. We like the Range Rover sport but I heard it's not easy maintenance and I know mph isn't great. The Mercedes c-class or something like that was also good but i believe it's expensive to maintain. Any ideas on cars and please don't say your first car shouldn't be a luxury cause most of the time I'll be driving the Honda accord.
