Nissan, Toyota, Honda or Mazda?

Im looking to buy a "new" used car. 2011-2012 car. I really like the Mazda 3! But im not sure if its as reliable as the other cars I named.
Im also interested in Nissan Altima, Versa and Sentra. Toyota Camry and Honda Accord, maybe a Civic. Any thoughts?
I've done some research and read about Nissan transmission problems.
