Is used 2002 Honda Civic gx worth to buy?

I m planning to buy one for easy college transportation. Busses are wasting time.
So it is 144k miles. It uses natural gas, which, it can save lots of money for a year spend.
It has catalytic converter, alternater, and stater replaced. Its in good condition.
Its worth $2600. So would I buy it?
