Recommendations for a reliable, good on gas college commuter that will hold its resale value?

Hey guys,
Need some advice. I just sold my mustang as it was not my idea of a good commuter car. I would like to go strictly good on gas and reliable.

I m thinking about the Honda Civic SI, Honda Accord or a Toyota Tacoma (I ride dirt bikes)

Any other recommendations? The civic si seems fun, and they have an awesome aftermarket.
