Opinions on starter bikes?

hello my name is Kevin and I'm interested in getting a new motorcycle. I'm a beginner in motorcycles I've never owned one or riden one. I would love to get a Cbr 600 but I feel that's too much and my buddy agrees it's too much. I am considering a 250 but I feel that's not enough thrill. I'm leaning towards a ninja 300, any advice for a beginner? My style is a street or sport bike I'm not too much into the Harley types, I'm a teenager lol. Also the Honda Cbf 500 catches my eye if that's a good starter. Any help or tips even would be greatly appreciated!
