Should I get a Toyota Corolla, or a BMW?

Well, I'm 18, going to get my G2 soon, but I'm looking into getting a car. Although I don't like the Corolla being an option, I just cannot stand them whatsoever. My dad has been driving Corollas since I was 6 years old. I even hate hearing the word Corolla, I don't know how I developed so much hate, but my dad doesn't want to try another model whatsoever. Ive told him to try a Honda or something else, he doesn't bother with anything else. My sisters also drive corollas, and I just need a refresh and stop the constant of being in a stupid Corolla for once! I used to go with my cousin to his auto shop to learn about car mechanics and I liked his BMW, but got bored of being it after a few months of travelling with him in his 3 series he had

I liked the feel to it, he drives a number of BMWs. I know if something goes wrong with my car if it as a BMW 3 series, my cousin will take care of it, although I have learned about basic maintenance from working with him in his car shop.
I don't want something that will not be boring to drive, but at the same time, I want comfort, which Corollas generally don't have. Toyota is more expensive to insure than BMW, according to what my insaurance company and my cousin told me. But at the same time, I want something simple, but fun and comfortable to drive.

I feel stuck between the option of Corolla and BMW 3 series.
Added (1). I asked my cousin what car he recommends for first car for m, he told me BMW. I asked him, what about other cars, he replies saying that from all the cars models and such he has driven, BMW lasted the longest and took good care of him.
