Are Americans finally realizing the versatility of Naked Bikes?

Another Naked Bike going across the pond after GSX-S750/1000, MT07 (FZ7 in US), CB1000R and Z1000:
Its Kawasaki Z800:

Z750 and its successor Z800 and larger Z1000 have been available here for AGES. Same goes for GSX-S (GSR here).
So does it means that DUMB FOOLISH Americans are finally realizing that one don't need a racey, cramped, peaky, uncomfortable 1 liter rocket that does 0-60 under 3sec for "COMMUTING"?!
There are still DOZENS of naked bikes available here for ages that never hit US shores. Like current line of Suzuki Bandit. Sure they used to be availabe there but Suzuki quickly pulled them out. It makes sense as Suzuki's best selling bike of all time in America is Gixxer 750! Same goes to Honda's excellent CBF Series or smaller Kawasaki Z250/300/600 and W800 and lets not forget Yamaha's older MT Series…
So, after Naked Bikes. What's next? Supermotos? Cars with Manual Transmission?
Ah, Your ancestors should've stayed with us! Oh wait, we kicked you out! Best decision we ever made!
