Why does my 2014 Civic Si have red honda badges on front and back and on steering wheel?

I bought a new Honda Civic Si from the dealership and the guy said that it was one of 10,000 models of that year, it looks nice but i want to know how accurate this is. Why does it have red badges? And why does my engine cover look white instead of black like they are on other Si's? Please answer! Thanks!
