So I took my dads trusty old Honda 900 out for a joyride… I took my turn and was accelerating in first, and I was about to shift but before I did the bike cut out then kept going in all about a second. I was at fairly high rpm and all, and second ran fine, and when I kept going, first was fine, so I think it's alright. What could have happened? The bike wasnt smoking or anything, but the jerk concerns me. Could it have just been the engine keeping itself in control and or going to high gear?
