Motorcycle idle adjustment?

Hello! Im new to riding bikes. I have a honda vf700s, and when i first picked it up its idle was around 2k. Which is too high, but it ran mint so i kept it thee. Now its idleing at 3,000! I really need to adjust it but i dont know how, and of you guys know how? Thanks
