I have a 98 Honda Civic and I was told by one mechanic that I had a "blown head gasket" and then told by another mechanic that I had a "cracked head gasket". I would like to know the difference between blown and cracked? And what steps do I take if it's blown, and if it's not blown, but instead cracked, what is the next step for that? I'm going to fix it myself, I'm just a little unclear on the steps and meaning of each diagnosis? ðÂÂÂ
