BMW 3 series good for teen?

My cousin, who is a car mechanic, he recommends I drive a BMW. Partially because insurance is cheaper due to safety statistics for BMW, and how often BMW are involved with crashes with teens or something like that. Additionally, my extended family drive BMW. And I at some point started to like BMW when going to my cousins shop to learn about mechanics.

But, he tells me that his BMWs have taken care of him and last him very long. My dad drives Toyota, he was thinking of getting my a Corolla, which I probably will drive until save up. But also, insurance on Hondas and Toyotas are an extra $100 compared to BMW. My dad hates BMW and says that he can't afford BMW. Well, he has a low income, so that is reasonable. But for me, I was thinking of something else other than BMW, but I don't know. Ironically, I said I was going to drive a Corolla as well when I get my license since I grew up in a Corolla household, but going to work with my cousin to learn about mechanics, I fell in love with BMW. At some point, I want to become a BMW mechanic. I don't like mechanics all that much, but working with BMWs, I think I will enjoy it.

I think I will start off with Corolla for a few months, but is BMW good for a soon-to-be college student? After college, I will plan on going to university so I have some schooling to go through.

Flickering lights on my 1998 Honda Civic ex, why?!

All my lights on my car starts Flickering when I m on the freeway(sometimes), when I turn my car on in the mornings(most of the time). I went to autozone to check my battery and the alternator, and said my battery was not good so I changed it but I still have the same problem. I also checked the fuse and it s good also. I don t know if it has something to do with the engine or transmission because my car has over 200k mileage and you can feel the transmission or I assume it pushes forward itself sort of but it doesn t move, it feels like a bump. Like it hits something inside the engine. Also one more thing, my car lights deemed when I step on the break. Does anyone have any one have an idea of what might be wrong with my car?

What parts of a car is it safe to put a tow hook without damaging my car and other parts?

So i own a 2007 saturn ion 4dr and i got stuck in the snow and a friend thought of pulling the car out but the problem is it doesn't have anything to put a chain on like this honda accord that has it underneath the bumper

My other idea is putting on a trailer hitch just like this video and just use it for getting pull out if i get stuck again

Would you buy a Jeep Liberty 2007 model with 29K mi on it?

I drove a Jeep Liberty from 2003 til 2011. I love it, but the transmission was screwing up, so I traded it in for a brand new Honda CRV. I loved my Jeep, and my Honda is no comparison. Its small and I feel like its too small. Im going to look at a low mileage Jeep Liberty tomorrow. Whats your thoughts?
