2014 Honda Civic Si screeching noise (metal to metal) when car is in motion? Brakes?

I just bought a 2014 Honda Civic Si and racked up 14,000 miles. I am now hearing a screeching (metal to metal) grind as the car is in motion. The car makes the noise when i am in motion and in reverse. I took it to the dealership and they told me that the rear brakes are worn out. Keep in mind this is the first time I took my car to the shop for anything other than an oil change. They are charging me $160 to replace just the rear brake pads. Any thoughts as to if the noise is caused by the brakes and if so is it worth $160 (OEM Honda Pads), or a second opinion?
