Is there another meaning for hp?

Ive been watching some videos because I'd like to Plasti Dip emblems on my car. On the comment section, i noticed people asking how much "hp" is added and im not sure what they mean? I do know the joke of some Honda Civic drivers/ricers who think adding stickers to their car means more horse power. Could these people be reffering to a ricer joke or?
