Do I need the chain adjuster bolts?

Ive got a honda crf100f, its not a HUGE rush for what I need it for, but the chain adjuster bolt is broken on one side.

Do I NEED the chain adjuster bolt?
Added (1). I have new ones in the mail that will be here anywhere from the 2nd to the 10th
