Should I buy a 1980 Honda CB650?

there is a cb with a little over 14k on it. The guy has a binder of receipts of everything done to the bike. He sold it to a bike shop and they tuned it up. They are selling it for 2400. It is pretty much brand new and this will be my first bike. My friend says it will overheat on long rides so I'm curious about that.

Here are some of the things done to the bike:
aftermarket accessories: front faring, windshield, crash bar with highway pegs, chrome grips, cargo rack, sissy bar, backrest, K and N air filter, jetted.

replaced rubber intake boots, cylinder head gasket, cylinder base gasket and piston rings. New battery and fresh oil filter
