I have a 2006 Honda Accord coupe and I have never had any previous problems regarding the doors. Yesterday, I parked and tried to get out but the door would not open from the inside or the outside. When you try opening from the outside, it feels like there is no resistance so something must have gone wrong internally. From the inside, the door handle juts out slightly and has no resistance either. You can push the door handle in to the proper position but if you try pulling on it again to open the door it returns to the slightly outward position. Can someone give a detailed explanation of what is wrong? In addition, how much would the dealership or an autobody charge for such a repair? Thanks for all the help guys!
