I have a 1997 ex honda with a d16z6 in it, car not turning on?

The car has been sitting on the same spot for almost 4 months. Or more. I knew the battery needed jumper cables so in the past week I did that just fine no problem at all. The other day I tried it won't work at all.(with the jumper cables) now my temperature gauge hits the roof without even turning on the car and makes this weird noise! What can be the problem?! The car wont even crank or anything! Just the lights on the dash turn on.
