Good beginner motorcycles? (Perferably sport)?

About to get my motorcycle license, I'm 17. I want a motorcycle that is good for beginners but doesn't make me look like a *****. I'm thinking of getting a sport bike but idk. Any suggestions, tips, advice would be much appreciated.
