Uber and Lyft Vehicle Age Limits?

I am interested in becoming a Uber and Lyft vehicle driver, but as you know, they do have age vehicle limits or else, they won't let you drive with them.

I am driving a 2003 Honda Civic in the Lexington, KY area. Lyft will take my vehicle, but not for long due to a 12 year age limit. Uber will not take my vehicle at all because they wants vehicles that are 2005 or newer.

Should I lease another vehicle that either Lyft or Uber will take? The reason I want to drive with them is because I have smartphone and want to make a little extra money in, besides my current job. If driving for Lyft or Uber is not an option, what are some other apps on Google Play that good to use for making a little extra money? Obviously, they are refusing to take my Honda Civic, but that's their problem and their company policy. I am battling depression and no one should feel buying a smartphone is a waste of money.
