Should i be driving a motorcycle?

Im 16 years old nearing 17, and im very interested in driving a motorcycle. If we want to get specific, a honda cbr240r is something that i have had my eye on. I was wondering if someone could give me their opinion in wether i should eide or not.
I live up in vermont where there is bassicly two seasons, really long winters and really ling summers.
I have no experience at all riding, however my neighbor is an extreme motorcyclist and iv learned quite a bit from him
