Honda civic 95 won't start?

I have a Honda civic 95 and I took my car to the shop and mechanic changed a break hose that was leaking and a motor mount but once I got home and try to start it again and nothing, everything else is working fine but it won't crank it just makes a soft blowing sound underneath the intake just behind the engine, also I noticed that the hand-break light comes up every time I turn the key
