Buying used ATV Quad vs used?

Im trying to buy a atv quad a new one from 2014 a honda trx250x from a dealer is 4,500 out the door is that too high for the model and year? Or good deal? My other choice is a 2007 or 2008 same model but used from craigslist itll cost me between 2,300-2,500 whats the better buy? How good of a deal is this
