1994 Honda accord sometimes starts and then shuts off while driving?

My 1994 Honda accord starts right up or doesn't start up at all. And when it does start is drives for about half a mile at the most and then my rpms drop to zero. I've replaced the main relay and checked fuses and I have a new battery and battery cables but still just don't even know what's going on with it. Any help is much appreciated
