Which Recent Honda Civic Year is the best?

Hi, I am looking to buy a used honda civic automatic either LX or EX. Ive been looking at the 2012 model, but i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. Should i get a 2010 or 2011? Is there any difference between these models. My budget is 12 000 after taxes, and below 100,000km. Thank you
