What does hook up actually mean?

i was at work today (a restaurant) and i was cashier and 3 people from Honda came in and i took there order and then i was in a joking manner like man you guys should give me a car and hes like oh yeah how come and im like because i'm still driving my moms (im 17 by the way) and he was like whats the car and i was like a pt cruiser and hes like oh man come on you cant do that to your self how about this you come down to the Honda dealer ship ask for (name) and ill hook you up it wont be the newest car but it'll be better and i was like for sure man thanks a lot and he got his food and said bye to everyone and i was see you soon and he gave me an okay sign with his hand then a thumbs up what does hook up actually mean and can a Honda dealership actually hook you up like don't they only have cars from like 2014 up so what does he mean?
