Okay I am in the mist of buying a Honda accord 1994. It's going to cost me 1, 200 and its a pretty decent car?

The only thing wrong with it is the breaks I have to literally floor it to get it to stop completely. Now knowing that I know if I buy it its going to need alot more than just me buying it. If it has 200, 000 miles on it it's only going to run another 200, 000 miles till the engine gives out. Does anyone think it's a good idea to swap it with a new engine as soon as I buy it? Or is that just plain out idiotic? Idk swapping it with a brand new engine sounded pretty good to me. Than putting a brand new break on it and BOOM POW! Good as new right? Thats how I was thinking about it. I also wanted to put new rims and new paint job. All in due time it'll be just like a new 2014 accord but give me some pointers guys. I'm kinda thinkin outside the box here

I live in Cali and i just turned 18, i never learned to drive because i was never interested in a car, but now that im 18 i feel like a total loser waiting for the bus. My family has a car waiting for me, but its stick shift and a honda civic. Good condition and everything but i have never driven a car let alone a manual transmission car. Ive only test drove a car twice and it was automatic. I really want to have my license by the beginning or mid November. Will i need more time or nah? Ive read the manual but that isnt going to help with the actual car.

What are reasons my check engine light could be coming on?

I have a 1995 Honda Accord, and I know you can't give me a direct answer so I was just looking for suggestions to what it could be. It doesn't always come on, but it usually will after I go over 2000-2500 rpms. The car does have 247,000 miles on it and drives perfectly fine. But I was just wondering what could possibly be causing this that I could look in to. Thanks for any advice given!

Mitsubishi lancer SE vs Honda accord coupe exl-v6?

So my options for my new car are a 2012 Mitsubishi lancer SE with sports package or a Honda accord v6 coupe ex-l. The Mitsubishi has 11k miles, awd, and heated seats but the interior is supposibly cheap and the car isn't as fast from what I hear m The Honda is fwd which isn't the best for the snow in Illinois, slightly less sporty and will be a 08-10 but the interior has luxury and is a pretty quick car. Any opinions on which one to get.

Which Honda Civic is right for me?

i have a honda accord 2012 LX has 28344 miles. I went to honda dealer and they did alignment, tire balanced, they also changed the tire. But the steering is still virabte at 65mph on highway. I went to the honda dealer 4 times. Abd they could'nt fix it. When i bought this car brand new, i never had that kind of the problem. I' m getting mad now.

Is there any way I can increase the performance of a 125cc?

When I first went to buy a new motorbike (My old one literally fell apart hence, I would suggest nobody buys a Huoniao or a Lexmoto Vixen), I was informed by the salesman that I could easily push it to 80mph. As previously, I've topped out at 50 with any wind. So, I spent all of my savings on a Honda CBF 125, this however tops out at around 65, if there isn't any wind. Which scares the crap out of me when idiots behind me stick to my backside like a bad turd on the dual carriageway. Is there any way that I can at least bump my speed up to 70?
I've bought lightweight gear (armour) and tucked myself in, but I still only just push 65 (If I'm to believe my speedo). Any help please? I don't mind spending up to £300

What kind of power steering fluid?

I have a 05 Hyundai elantra and the power steering fluid is red. Dark red, and a friend of mine told me to use Honda fluid in it when I replace it, I siphoned some out and put a bit of Honda fluid it but the Honda fluid is clear, is this a problem? And what kind of fluid should I use? He said the Honda fluid lubricates the system better than a generic multipurpose fluid. Its probly 1/2 Honda fluid now mixed with the old fluid.

My speedometer just went out and I noticed the mileage stopped tacking. I did some research and found I just need to replace the sensor. Then after a few youtube videos, I realized that anyone could just unplug the sensor and drive 100k miles, plug it back in, and sell it for a good price. Is there a way to check the history of a cars driving without mileage add-on through its computer to avoid buying from a liar? Im referring to 1998 honda civics.

I have a 2000 Honda Accord LX 2.3…I got my transmission replaced and I still have problems?

You have got to be kidding me! I Finally got my car back and got the transmission replaced and the car is STILL running eh. The mechanic told me the car shifts perfectly… Which it does, but he has to check the two sensors from the old transmission and put it into my used transmission that I have

There are two issues I have with the used transmission:
1) When you reverse the car and then put it in "D" it's a 1 second delay with a small bump before you go
2) When you stop the car and the car is at 0 mph you hear two thumps

What is the issue?

Electrical Problem(s) 2001 Honda Prelude Base?

Alright here we go, I replaced my spark plugs and wires at this time I had my battery out. Anxious to see it run, I picked up my battery, placed it in the wrong way and hooked it up backwards(positive to negative and negative positive). I saw a spark and I immediately stopped. Panicked of course cause I knew i did something stupid. Now my car will not start (has no power what so ever) however the brake lights, horn, and hazard lights work which is weird. I have an ECU or ECM from my other prelude (i replaced it to see if it would run, i didn't). I looked at all the fuses under the hood to make sure the mains were not shot (abs fuse seems to be weird tho, what is that?) I put a different battery in, tried it and nothing. What could it be?

These transmissions are god awful. Honda… Reliable? Lol. Those two words shouldn't ever be near each other unless the word "isn't" is in the middle.

Got the '98 accord 4 cylinder transmission replaced and now the car when coming to a complete stop it's a huge delay and you hear two thumps coming from underneath. Can it be the sensor? Did the noob mechanic forgot to switch the transmission sensors on my old transmission to the other? Noob move. Because it is impossible for a transmission to be defective already. And when I gear the car into "D" you still hear a bump

My dad told me I cannot drive the car because the transmission will be ruined. What do you guys think? I need to go to work tomorrow…

Reservoir fluid level goes down every time i fill it. Is this because the reservoir is overfilled?

Hii Guys,
Can anyone help me with this issue. I just bought a Honda Civic 2004 ex. I have a problem with the radiator fluid level. It always goes down and i have checked with compression test, there is no leakage and the radiator cap is good. But the other thing i am concerned about is, the reservoir coolant tank is overfilled so will this effect the fluid level in reservoir. Every night i fill next day morning it goes down and there is no spills, is this because i overfill the reservoir with coolant.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, so I did my cbt and I'm riding a little 125cc cruiser, now I'm 18 and naturally once I am 19 I want to upgrade to an a2 license (the a1 seems a tad pointless to me)
I'm not too bothered either way, just darned confused, does the a2 allow you to ride any bike as long as it produces no more than 33bhp or is it restricted to a 250cc

Why is gas leaking from a little black piece under the seat on my dirtbike?

I have a Honda crf150 and I just got it back from the shop because of a flat tire and when I got it out of the truck I noticed it was leaking gas all over the back wheel and chain out of a little piece under the seat (I forgot what its called), the gas was turned on and when the gas is off it stops but as soon as it's turned back on it starts leaking again. Does anyone know what it's called? And if it's something I can fix or do I have to take it back to the shop? And is it something they did and should have to pay for?

My check engine light is on but if I reset it right before the inspection, will I pass? Do they plug in the code reader during the inspection?

I know that if I reset it by the battery, it takes about 30 miles for it to come on again. I only want to pass untilI I have enough money to fix the problem.

I currently have an 03 Honda CRF150F. I have grown a little tired of it because it is a little bit slow especially on the acceleration. How to get into my Honda Accord trunk?

I bought a 98 Honda Accord used. I didn't realize until after I bought it that the one key I have for it doesn't open the trunk from the inside (if you're in the back seat there is a key hole to "unlock" it so you can fold down the backseat). Is there a way to somehow be able to unlock it without getting a new key made? I am sure I can drill it out, but then I'd be worried about the seat folding down at random.

Back on December 14, 2012 the whole world put the focus on one big town in Connecticut and it was Newtown. Does anyone thinks this staged shooting was make the little childern and alduts who lived there famous. It seems like to me they want to be popular by the world. Also everything was copied from Columbine High School shooting because they say Adam Lanza was a tall 6 feet thin young man who was similar to description of one of columbine shooters. And they say that Adam Lanza had autism and he drove his mom honda civic all way to the school about 2-3 miles. And i seen that they photoshopped him from other people. Anyways do you think this was make Newtown Connecticut famous besides gun laws.

Is there any possibility of re-attaching my muffler?

Basically, while riding one day (2011 Honda CBR250R) my muffler just snapped off, but i was able to find it. Unfortunately it is pretty dinged up and some parts are cracked/bent. I attached three pics of the damage, and was wondering if i could possibly reattach it in anyway until i get a new one? The bolt to mount it is bent, the pipe a little cracked, and the other picture is where it snapped i guess, because it was connecting my exhaust pipe and it together Added (1). 87 Honda Shadow Fuel/Engine problem?

With my bike now running, it seems to be running rough while idling, and is not taking throttle well. I took apart the carbs to clean them, put it back on, and the right carb with the front cylinder seems to misfire a bit. Once I start giving it gas, it will die if i get up to 2000 rpm, or usually 4000 rpm with the choke on. The bike seems to run on one cylinder if i can get it to still run once i hit these limits, while I can hear the air intake sucking in allot of air but it can recover if i drop the throttle to idle, then blip the throttle to where it will idle by itself. The reason I can figure this out with which cylinder, is by my bike having straight pipes, and i can feel the regular, constant puffing of exhaust on the left exhaust coming from the rear cylinder, and it smells regular and is quite strong in force, while the right side smells a little of gas, and the puffing is irregular and is a little weaker. Plus their is not as much sound coming from the right as the left. A comparison of the exhaust would be like this: the left is normal, while the right sounds like the exhaust of a drag racer with loopy idle. Could the timing be off? Or is the right carb still messed up, and I need to pull it again? Any solutions are appreciated, and I can let you know of any needed info. I have a video, but it may not be heard due to the crappy mic it was shot with.
Added (1). Spark plugs are working fine except the main on the rear cylinder is a little weak. They all have dry Fouling though… Cleaned them up, but no dice.

How good of a brand is poulan?

I own a small lawn care business and am preparing for winter, and I need a snow blower. I know poulan is made by Husqvarna, which is a good brand, however I know that MTD usually gives me good luck but lawn boy and yard machines, which is made by MTD, sucks. So, I don't know whether poulan is better, worse, or the same as Husqvarna.

Okay I have a honda civic 2001. It's four door and a four cylinder, and it also has 195k miles on it but Hondas can last long. Suggestion on how to make my car more theft proof?

I drive a 1999 Honda Civic SI and those are thief magnets. Currently I have one of those car alarm that if you open from inside or even from the trunk then the alarm will go off. I also have a steering wheel lock too. I was thinking of getting a car tracker device but you have to pay monthly for those. Detachable steering wheel also known as quick release came in mind but they are expensive and i don't want to carry my steering wheel everywhere i go.

Ever since I was little i was into cars, my father had a white honda s2000. He fixed it up with the most authentic racing parts possible; I helped him assemble it. Anyone know what this part from my 07 Honda Accord may be?

A lot of people are telling me it's the air filter, but when I pop the hood, what I have always thought to be the air filter, looks fine. The outer 1/3 of the bumper on the drivers side got ripped off. Along with the splash guard, and this. Anyone know what I need to order to replace it? Motorcycle help troubleshoot?

I have a 2009 Honda clone Tmec motorcycle that is supposedly 200cc 4 stroke air-cooled. I haven't had it for very long. The motorcycle is suppose to go 70-80 mph when I ride it the bike starts vibrating in the handles, seat, and foot pedals as if its over reving at the speed of 30 to 35mph? I also hear rattlings and clanking as if something a chain is not catching. This usually happens after I shift and accelerate or when I go over a pot hole it will rattle for 2-4 seconds then stop? I have cleaned out the carburetor and air filter I have changed the oil and replaced the spark plug. I think what may be causing the loss of power is maybe the clutch friction plates? Or maybe the transmission? Or maybe the drive chain and sprocket? When I first got the bike about a year ago the chain fell off when I was riding it at 30 to 35 mph. It locked up the back wheel and when we fixed it we just unclogged the chain and put it back on the wheel. Could this have been the cause of the vibrations and lack of power? I don't know much about motorcycles. How do you know when you need to replace the clutch, transmission, and chain/sprockets? What could be causing the lack of power and vibrations? Please list your experience with motorcycles in the source box.

Hello, I am a college student and I am looking for a car that will get me through undergrad and grad school, so another 7-8 years. I want a car that is good with mpg, below or around $13,000, and will not break down too often, and if so they are minor repairs that are relatively inexpensive. I have narrowed my choices down to the Honda Civic and Toyota Camry, around 2006-2012. So I want your opinion on which you think is better. (By the way I have a 96 Camry that has almost 300,000 mi on it so I already kinda have some trust in it).

Any 2008 mazda 3 owners who know the car well?

I was looking for a daily driver that isn't too boring to drive, I know there is Honda and toyota, but what about the mazda 3? I am looking to buy this as a used car with manual transmission, I want to ask whoever has owned this car for a while and put about 200,000 miles on it a few questions. How is the maintenance, does it cost much to maintain, are spare parts expensive, how is the ride, and all together reliability? Please be as thorough as you can on your points of view on this car, and add any other comments if you have any. I wanna try to compare it with a honda civic or a toyota corolla or Camry. I prefer answers from drivers who have driven the year and make of this car for a couple hundred thousand miles or have lots of experience with it.

I have a 2000 Honda Accord and when I took it to Jiffy Lube the other day they said I'm overdue to have my transmission and radiator flushed. How soon should I have this done? Is it important? Also, a price estimate would be nice. I think Jiffy Lube wants $150 for each.

2004 honda civic ex neither radiator fan is turning on?

Yesterday I was driving home and noticed that my car was starting to overheat when I was idling at a red light. The heat started to blow out cold air as the car temp. Went up. When I started to drive again the heat worked. This morning I checked under the hood and realized the first cooling fan did not work and the ac/heat fan did not turn on either.

I check the fuzes and antifreeze so was wondering what else can cause the fans to stop working

Can you put 85 in a car that has always run 87?

I lived in Ma and I have always put 87 in my 2003 Honda Accord 2.4 4 Cyl. I just drove cross country to Idaho. They have they sell 85 in all there gas stations as unleaded, where in mass 87 is unleaded. They also sell 91 as premium. I have put 91 in my car a few times and I know it doesn't effect it in anyway. I just didn't know if I could put 85 in it without causing problems. Because they don't sell 87 out here, its either 85 or 91 and there is about a.45 cent deference. It would be nice to save the money.

My '98 Honda Accord vibrates every once in awhile for a few seconds. What could it be?

If I take my foot off the gas pedal right away it stops. If I don't, my check engine light goes on and stays on for a day or 2 and then goes off again on its own.

I'm about to get my first car soon and I love fast cars. I origanlly wanted a Mustang V6 but car insurance would cost more for a mustang. Is the transmission slipping?

I have an automatic '98 Honda 2.3
Is this slipping transmission = I need a new one?

Car takes awhile to accelerate, and when I shift to drive there is a small bump before it starts driving. Is this slipping… If so now what? Oh and RPM's go up and sometimes It could be stuck in a gear

But I had my codes checked and nothing in the codes indicated it was the transmission. It said my engine was misfiring on all 4 cylinders, and how "P1381, P1457, P300" have NOTHING to do with the transmission…

I'm so confused. I have a check engine light. Help

2004 Honda Civic won't lock from the outside?

I can lock my doors when I'm inside the car but if the door is open and I press the lock button only my passenger door will lock. When my driver door is shut and I try to manually lock it from the outside the key won't move at all. If anyone can give me some tips on what is wrong or how to fix it, that'd be awesome! Trying to save time and money from going to a locksmith.

I recently got into a fender bender in which I rear ended a 2002 Honda Odyssey with a 2007 Honda civic. The damage isn't all too bad except that the van's right bumper that I hit is out of place and looks like it needs to be popped back in. The car I was driving has scratches and a small piece missing but no dents at all. The problem is that it is my roommate's car and she is not insured for it, it's under her mom's name. I am taking full responsibility for it because we do not want to get anyone's insurance involved. We got a policeman involved so it was easier for me and the guy to have our information. The guy is going to a repair shop in the morning and is going to call me with all the costs of the damages and I'm going to pay for it outright in cash. I was just wondering, how much something like this is going to cost? Thank you for anyone who can give me any information at all. I'm extremely upset at myself for this and as a college student, I just hope I can get by without putting a huge dent in my tuition savings. Thanks:(

I drive a 2003 Honda Pilot, and I have replaced the stock exhaust system with a straight pipe all the way back to a magnaflow muffler. I have also added on a spectre cold air intake. How to remove bolt on car?

I am replacing the immobilizer on my Honda Civic EX manual speed 2001. I received a new one in ebay, and it not only has the immobilizer, but an entire part that wraps around the steering wheel.

The one off ebay has the metal clamp with two bolts that have grooves cut for a flat head screwdriver. The one on my car has flat bolts -- and no obvious way to remove them. Do I have to cut grooves in the metal somehow to remove with a screwdriver?

Speed senior or bad transmission?

1998 Honda accord 2.3 automatic transmission 4 cylinder

Car shakes a bit and the car would go to 60mph for awhile before the rpms randomly jump high to 5-6000 and id have to let go of the gas and continuously doing it. Then when it is at 20mph it wont go faster than that and the rpms are still going high, transmission has fluid and it looks good. But im betting its a transmission issue but im clinging on hope its a speed sensor

When i was passing a speedometer on the high way it read my cars speed erratically from 57, 89, 5, 48. No car was behind me and my speedometer said i was going 25 and my speedometer is 5mph less than what i go

While driving on the highway going 65 the car randomly hit the RPMS to 7000-8000 red line and then went back down then went back up. Obviously i had to take the foot off the gas.

Then it wouldn't acceleratw past 40 then youd hear clunks and the car pushing forward a bit. I had to turn the car off and on so it wouldn't do it as much
What do I do? Im 150 miles away from my house and dont have AAA.

My boyfriend's parents is looking to buy him a used 2001 honda civic. It already has 150,000 miles on it! Theres no dents, scratches, problems, etc but I'm just worried that it's way too old and the engine will just give out soon. His dad is saying it'll last until 250,000 miles but i'm just baffled because when my parents and i picked out my used car, the rule was nothing above 100k miles. My boyfriend is just going to use it to go to college each day but i'm still uneasy and overprotective. Should i say something about this? Or just wait until his car breaks down after a week?

the lexus is '07 awd v6 w/ 100k miles,
the honda is a base '13 with only 8k miles. Lexus is a few thousand cheaper, and i like it more. It'll be my first car. Both are in good shape. Do lexus cars get reliable lifetime mileage?

The 2012 Honda Civic 4 door lx is my very first car. I've had it for two years, going on three. Now, this car is by no means powerful and only sports a measly 1.4L engine. But there's just so much memory in this car. I drove it to see my favorite rapper, Riding through the city with friends. When I look at the car I dont see the civic, but the memories that are in it. Should I upgrade to the Si? Or just keep my car and add after market parts. I will definitely be sad to see this car go, if it comes down to it.

94 honda accord ex, my radiator fan does not work anymore?

So it used to work but it just kinda stopped the other day. I have changed the thermostat, checked the relay and it works, checked the fan itself by giving it power and it also works. On top of that I flushed the radiator, new cap, the engine coolant temp sensor and the switch have both been replaced and plugs cleaned, new coolant in it and bleed it. Also if I short it with a paperclip it works, but why wont it turn on otherwise? Any ideas? Ive done all of this and nothing, im lost and you guys are my last hope, if I cant get it fixed soon then ima just wire it to a toggle switch but preffer not to.

It a honda cbr1000rr 2008 model. The bike's battery has been dead for more then a month… And it was parked in the sun for two months. The battery is good now but the bike wont start. It just keeps trying but it doesn't.

The dealer mentioned that the car got a minor hit on the driver's door and it was already fixed.

Thinking about getting a volvo s60, but afraid I'll miss stick shift?

I am buying a new(to me) car in March and i had told myself I was going to get a stick shift again. My options are limited, so I was looking at the mazdaspeed3, wrx, new honda fit, and accord sport. I don't know why but I looked up the volvo and I was surprised to see I can easily afford a low mileage 2012 s60. I remember driving my buddies s80 for the day and I loved it. Lots of power, smoothest ride ever, and seats that can compete with the most expensive recliner chair out there. I'm also positive that the volvo would be babied, compared to a used wrx. I live in ct too, so I get stuck in traffic a lot on i95. Do you guys regret ditching manual gears?

Will my tires last for 1 week?

I was told almost 3 weeks ago that eventually I would need to get my tires replaces because they are getting low. I made an appointment with a tire store and I have one more week until they get replaced. The roads are being worked on around my area and the main road I take in the morning is bumpy. Basically, they ripped up the asphalt. I also go about 60 to 80 mph on a highway. I have a 2009 Honda Fit. One of my co-workers came in today and noticed my passenger side tire is very low and he said the other ones are low too. I said I'm getting them replaced next week. He said well put some air in them. Will that help? I don't want to have a flat on the road. I know nothing about cars. I have a car where the tires need to be ordered.

What pioneer series speakers should I get for my car?

I was looking into the g series because it says it can handle good bass. I listen to the music LOUD about 5 notches below full volume. But I want it to be consistent with the volume and I saw the Pioneer pro series which is supposedly the best but it needs an amp to sound better, not sure what to do? I might want subwoofer as well to make the sound even better. This will be going into my 2007 honda civic. I've never changed the speakers so I definitely need help.
Also, will I need a new audio control system? I'd like to just change the speakers not the whole console.

2001 Honda Accord LX 3.0 L V6 problem?

The numbers in my Honda digital odometer is all distorted and will only show part of the numbers. But if I ignore it it go's back to normal after a while but then gets messed up again. If I push on the glass with my thumb a little it fixes it for a while.

Same problem with the clock but that is always distorted.

My local Honda crooks I mean dealer said the whole display section is definitely bad (eye balled it for less then 10 seconds) and said i will get a huge (lots of emphasis on the H) ticket and get my car towed if I didn't pay 1500 bucks to replace it. When I tried to leave they said that they can't let me drive like that. I offered to make the 911 call for them to save some time and they left me alone.

Anyway, anyone know what the problem is. I think it's a loose wire or something.

My uncle has a Honda CRV and It is always a bummer, also a photo bummer seeing that metal that is visible when looking at the front of the car. My uncle sometimes go on harsh roads on it and most of the time it catches some twigs, brushes vines, even have few dents after hitting some rocks… I mean what is that? I had a tire with a nail in it for a while and it would go low about every 3 weeks, and the TPMS light came on. I've gotten the tire changed and the light is still on. Do I have to go to the dealer to solve this problem or is there any other less expensive solution?

I drive it regularly to school but I went on a three day weekend and this morning everything went fine on the commute but then later in the day the front brake stuck but when i wanted to go home it worked. What can I do in this voided car lease situation?

I recently got a lease on a Honda Civic and they let me drive it off the lot. Then a week later they send me a letter rescinding the contract. Does that mean I could just return the car and I get the car I traded in for it back? The letter did state that I was supposed to return the vehicle which I'm trying to do but the dealer keeps on giving me excuses. Is there any loopholes that I don't know about that will make me keep the Civic? They were stating that even if the lease wasn't approved, that it didn't mean I could return the car because they got me approved for a purchase. BUT I didn't sign it yet. 2001 Dodge Intrepid Water Pump Tensioner Issue?

I just purchased this vehicle from a friend of a friend. Runs nice, 185,xxx miles. Paid less than I expected so no complaints.

I noticed the engine had a rattle though when I started it with the hood open. I'm definitely no mechanic, so my first thought was "oh no, it's a rod." But it's not loud… Barely audible with the hood shut, recognizable with the hood open for sure. And it knocks in time with the engine cycle (it rattles faster when I accelerate, etc)

I searched YouTube for similar issues and I heard a video of a newer model Honda engine producing almost the same exact sound. It turned out that the issue of that car was the Water Pump Tensioner. I have no idea what that is, if that would be my issue for sure or how bad it is to continue driving the vehicle in that state if that IS the problem.Anyone want to shed some light on this? Say that the water pump is the problem. Stop driving it? And if it isn't the water pump tensioner, what else?

I became FURIOUS. I told them "hey can you 2 pull over I need directions". Then they pulled over the mayate got out of the car & using my skills en Boxeo I landed a 16 Punch Juan Manuel Marquez combination and knocked the mayate out.

I then did a 619 on him. His girlfriend was screaming at me, so I gave her a DDT then a People's elbow.

My car won't start and there is a buzzing noise?

Hi, I have a 2014 Honda Civic and never had any problems. I went to start my car today and when i turn the key to the "start" position, the dashboard will blink along with a buzzing noise. If I press the brake, it does the same thing. I would see what happens when the key it turned to the other positions. My car's lights work and my phone charges. The dashboard tells me to check my airbags and breaks, which has never happened before. I have no idea what it could be. Maybe the battery is low but I'm not sure how to check. Should I just call triple A? Thank you.

I wasn't going to buy him one, but he came home for the weekend and said he really needed one at ASU.

I was reading an article that the Honda Civic and Buick LeSabre would great for kids going to school. But I was talking to our neighbor and she bought her son an old BMW, like 2011, and her son didn't talk to her for weeks. I want my kid to have a good time at college and not be embarrassed, but the article said these two cars were really good for teenagers.

Again he is going to ASU where all the pretty people are so I want him to have something that is cool cuz he is rushing frats.

I was kinda iffy when I read about the Honda and then they said the Buick, so this may be made up or something.

What do you do if a sheriff pulls you over while on dirtbike?

I live in a rather small neighborhood and I have about a mile of private owned roads before I get to my trails. I own the land where the trails are but not the road to the trails. Lately people on the road and all over the neighborhood have been complaining and are threataning to call the cops because I have no spark arrestor on the bike so it's loud and they claim I go to fast. I normally try to follow the 25 mile limit but I have no speedometer on my bike. Bike is a 2003 honda xr100r. Another problem is a deputy lives right in the neighborhood today after a long ride I locked up and I saw the cop circling the neighborhood so I quickly went inside. I got lucky but my luck will run out. I will probably lay low for a week or so and from now on I'll go slower and use hand turn signals but what should I do if someone pulls me over. I do know the road and trails in the back of my head so I could run what should I do.

Well for starters I'm 22 years old and I'm in the Navy. I still drive my 2007 Grand Prix that I've owned since I was 18. My income is pretty steady and I'm not looking to go all out anytime soon cause I'm still saving money over the next year along with the money I made over the past 2 years working as a restaurant manager so I can pay it off quick. I'm the kind of guy that loves both muscle cars and imports but still trying to find the best and reliable car. I also want something that's easy to modify.

Quitting a decent paying job?
I am in my mid 30's single, no kids, no girlfriend. Have a high school education with a little college(years ago), I live alone in modest apartment. No debt except for utilities, insurance. Recently, I've decided to trim my lifestyle so I could be debt free and in anticipation of taking a pay cut. I gave up my smartphone which was almost 90$ a month and went with a pay as you go flip phone. Sold my 2011 Honda accord with the 389$ a month payment, bought a paid for 2004 Ford Taurus. No car debt now. I always eat at home now. I make about 35k a year now, honestly the money is good for the job but I want out. Tired of the drama, political correctness and corporate baloney. Some of the people too ugh… I know if I quit I would have to start over again and take a major paycut. My family thinks I've lost my mind, tells me I would be foolish to quit but I cant take it anymore. Has anyone here ever walked away from a good paying job to save your sanity? I will secure another job before I quit this one but as I said I know I will have to take a big pay cut. Am I wrong?

Car making squeaky noise like old mattress?

I have a 2003 Honda accord and I hear a squeaking noise coming from the front but I'm not really sure. You really can't hear it driving straight down the road but you can hear it well when I slow down and hit bumps or even when I'm coming to a full stop. It's a kinda squeaky noise, like an old bed spring mattress sound. When it rains and when theres moisture outside, the noise disappears until it dries back out.

Any idea what it might be?

Honda accord minor trouble starting?

I have a 06 honda accord 3.0 v6 vtec coupe (auto tranny). The last few weeks I have noticed a slight lag before it gets started. No bad sounds no grinding, clicking or anything out of the norm. Just the engine working to turn on. If I give it a rev wile I'm starting it will start up with no problem. About a month ago I also had a pretty hardcore audio system installed (speakers subs amps h-o deck) without adding a capacitor. Could my battery just need some more juice? Do I need a new battery? Is my starter starting to go? It has 78k miles and I haven't had this issue to recently. I also do bring my car to high rpm quite often.

Sporty fwd or awd car for under 18k?

Hey guys, I am looking for a newer car. Preforably 2008 and newer but older is fine. I have about 18k for the car. I live in northern Illinois so it needs to be fwd or awd for the winter. It needs to be sporty looking and fast. Mitsubishi lancer evo and Subaru impreza wrx sti are too expensive from what I could find. Car lurches left unexpectedly when it's raining?

I drive a 2005 Honda Civic, for some reason the car swerves to the left at odd times. It just seems like its out of control and almost like its fishtailing. Also, this only happens when its raining, any other time its completely fine. If anyone can tell me the reason or what I could do to fix it, it would be much appreciated. I have deductible on a Honda Accord '99 (title loan used as collateral for a person loan)
And I have to have full coverage… But what does full coverage actually do? I mean I feel it's totally pointless and just a way to scam you off money

Speedometer problem 2001 Honda Accord?

When my battery died on me, all of my dash lights flipped out and the speedometer needle flipped around. So the needle was under the pin but when I was driving it would move up but stop at the pin. So I removed the dash and plastic plate thing and moved the needle over the pin, and it wouldn't move at all. Then I flipped it all the way around like when it flipped when the battery died, still nothing.

Question: What can I do now to fix it? It worked before and now it won't move at all. I really don't want to pay someone to do it when it seems like an easy fix

I don't know what happened? I went to a friends house to hang out and this was last night. There house was gated so I had to dial in so I could get through. My car brand new battery keeps dying out?

I have a 95 honda accord v6. A month ago I was driving and at some point turned the car off. When I tried to start it back up it wouldn't start. I got a jump. 10 minutes later it died again. I purchased a new battery only to find out it still won't start. So I assumed it was the alternator. I took it to a local shop they tested the alternator and it tested out good. But still after I jump the car and drive it once I turn it off it won't start. Something is draining or not charging the battery. I'm not sure what it is. Could it be a shortage somewhere? The radio? Or the horn that was installed two months ago in my car. Not the horn connected inside the steering wheel but but an external one brought from autozone.
