This pic (Honda civic ) has 3 switches for 3 different light types. I have the same car.

Number 1 I should use it at night always. I know that.
But what's number 2 and 3?
Can I use 2 (low beam?) all times at night to help me see in the night or will it blind people?
Is 3 (high beam?) the one that blinds people and I should only use it in very dark areas with no oncoming traffic?
By the way 3 is when you have the switch on number two AND the stick pushed back.
