Added (1). I was planning to make that trip but I'm not sure that it's the smartest thing to do on a sportbike.

2000 Honda Civic problems Help?
Im having problems with my 2000 Honda Civic. It was running all fine till this morning, when I got a couple of miles down the street it started sputtering and the check engine light started flashing. So I stop and shut it off then I could smell like a electrical burn smell. Didnt see no smoke or where it was coming from. The car will start up and runs without dieing, just act sluggish. Went to Autozone to hook up to see what codes its throwing but they couldnt find the plug in. Any suggestions. Thanks
Added (1). Yes all fluids has been checked, cant afford a mechanic right now, so I guess Ill just have to junk it.

Overheating Honda, what could be the problem?
Just a few days ago I noticed that steam was coming from the radiator cap so I replaced it. After replaced the car started overheating at high speeds but cooled back to almost normal temp after a while of stop and go traffic.
I checked the coolant levels and topped it off, I drove it this morning and yet again at high speeds the temp rose above normal, and cooled down again in stop and go traffic.
I turned on the heater when temp started to rise so I turned on the heater. Hot air blew for about a min or two then slowly only cool air would blow out. I turned it off and noticed that when left off for a while hot air would blow again but after left on a while only cool air would blow. When hot the rpms at pretty low and feels like if the car will turn off. Is this a thermostat problem? Is the rediator bad? Water pump? Don't have much experience with cars and could use th help

Trade in my car upside down?
I have 2013 civic and I want 2015 optima. My car value 12000 and I owe 15200. That's 3200 upside down? I like my civic but the thing is it's been giving me lots of electrical problems (warranty available) ive take the car about 13 times to diffrent dealer Honda and they only took me 2 times to check my car the rest send me home. They say I have to take the car when it's happeing but I take it when the problem not happening… Last week i was taking the car since it was causing the problem on my way but I get there and it stop so they send me home… And I'm tired of this back and forth they won't fix it. At all so I want to trade it in… I have $500 for down payment for next car… Is it worth it

Upside down trade in. Important reason?

How fast do insurance claims get handled? (Car bumper scraped and paint came off)?
I awoke to see my car with about a foot's in width and length scratch/scrape along the left side of the bumper. I already know who did it (Family member who rents), Paint came off on certain portions of the big scratch/scrape and it just makes the front end look awful.
so what is there to do now? And how fast do Car Insurance companies take care of these types of problems.
It's depressing, because I just bought this car 2 weeks ago.
